I have been getting call from
a collection agency, I think.
they refuse to give their name and telephone number and
ask for a third party. Tell me they do not have to give their name and want to argue about everything. How do I get rid of these people? I have no collections or overdue payments.

Have caller ID? Google the incoming number. That'll give you a name and contact info. Send them a CD letter, CMRRR.
No caller ID? Star-6-9 will give you the number, date, and time. Proceed as above.
