How true is it? Our community offers the listening ears and the helping hands.

Did listening ears play a role in debts fight?

Everytime I've posted a question, of ANY concern, members were there to answer my questions.

The people who come here do so becuase we give them something they are not getting anywhere else....whether that is a place to vent or a place to seek resolution to a problem or a place to interact with others that are in the same situation as they are. Many times one is not exclusive of the other. So to answer your question, as the others have stated we offer both heling hands and listening ears. And yes, listening plays a role in the debt fight. If we do not "listen" to what the member is asking or telling, we can not help them. Even if the format of the communication is written, we are still "listening to their issues and in many cases assisting with helping the person find a resolution.

We are here as "listening ears" and as "helping hands". I think the listening part is extremely important. People don't realize they are not alone. They don't realize that there are many, many people in the same situation as them. When they find this site, they are relieved. I'm sure they want someone to listen to them and to understand them and know where they are coming from. And, we can do that without hesitation, as we've all been there. That's why we're here. So, if someone just wants "listening ears", I'm all for it. I'll answer to anyone. It helps them. That's what we're here for. To help. And, if they want "helping hands", we're here for that also. So, yes, "listening ears" does play a role in the debt fight. You get encouragement, you get advice, you get strength, you get applauded, you get sympathy, you get it all. It's extremely important. If someone knows that someone is listening to them and understanding them, it gives them the strength to go on with the fight and not give up. Just my opinion.
