I'm trying to consolidate my credit bills to the total of about $50,000.
I am getting blasted with interest rates from 10.99%-22%.
I have been current on all my accounts for yrs. and I want to go with a company to consolidate and make one payment every month at a fixed rate.
The money i save from various accounts would be well spent on affording to pay-off this debt faster. I live in Ohio, which is very hard hit state, and fortunatly I am blessed with a good job and I have also been blessed with being able to stay current with my payments.

hey harrywizardking, If you are looking for a consolidating firm for the service you can register yourself with this site, or else, you can also take the help of the free consultation offered by them to understand your financial situation better.

Wishing you all the luck and hope you soon will be out of the debt problem.

Well, ok then, this is working now.
like I've tried to send before.........
I have been reading this site for a long time and am really impressed with the atmosphere and knowledge that is shared here.
I have referred alot of my friends that have been bitten by the PDL bug and can't get out, and my good Lord....... what horror stories are on here and the advice that is given over and over consistently between everyone is so helpful.
I have signed up for a free consultation as you advised and am waiting for some one to contact me though I would like to hear from anyone that has consolidated, the "Good" ins/outs and what to "watch-out fors" if you know what I mean.

About 3 years ago, my partner was out of work for 6 months & we ended up with almost 15k of debt. We got a consolidation loan which allowed us to reduce the amount we were paying back each month & eventually we we able to get rid of that awful debt.

I would recommend consolidation as it really helped us. Just make sure you do your research, as you are doing now of course.

Good luck!

Hi harrywizardking is that you?? I'm really happy to hear that you have signed-up. I'm sure you will soon hear form someone of this site and will soon be heading towards a debt free life. All my prayers are with you. Please keep us posted with the developments.

Regarding the pros and cons of debt consolidation, well, nothing can be worse than drowning in the quagmire of debt, right!

Debt consolidation can save you from this mess without causing severe damage to your credit. Well, I'm not denying the fact that its free form all malice, but at times it's possibly the best solution available. However, don't forget to do your own research before joining their program. I would rather suggest that you check out with the BBB site about the company status prior to deal with them.

Hope the inputs help. Do let me know if I can be of any more help.

Yes, that was me, Sorry i'm trying to get the hang of posting here.
Like I said before, I've always been able to pay my bills on time, and have never overspent my limits.
I've had these accounts for many years and they are in great standing, but..... take that into account and when I try and get a better rate BECAUSE I've been with these compaies for so long, all they do is increase my lines of credit! And keep the same apr.!!!
Oh, and still no replies from this site on the free consultation??? Does this take long??? It's been 5 days since I signed on
