I received a payday loan from mycashnow.com . i have some issues with them but then a few days later I received 200 dollars and another 200 dollars from cmg group llc and djr group llc. I haven't signed anything or didn't even know they were sending any money till I received an email and I sent and email back telling them I didn't request any money from them. I don't know what to do. I tried calling but I just get voicemail and my credit union isn't being very helpful.....Please help!!!

You are probably going to have to close your account before your next payday and get your payroll to cut you a live check. These companies are going to take more than they gave you. A lot more most likely. You must send them back the money by money order or western union or prepaid debit card. Please read the sticky about closing your account!

Interesting; I'd had a loan w/ mycashnow and somehow or other CMG got hold of my act info, too. Are these 2 connected and is the company "double-dipping?" I "second" everything what frogpatch said, get that account closed and soon; but by NO means should you tell the PDL's ahead of time that you'll be closing your account or they'll try to get into the act and get as much $$$ as they can beforehand.

Wow- normally I wouldn't have any complaints about money just magically appearing in my bank account, but as the money came from other PDLs, it definitely sounds fishy.

It sounds like either

a) the companies that you didn't sign with belong to the same parent company as mycashnow.com

or

b) your information was sold and companies are now just sending you loans you didn't ask for so they can just start charging away with their ridiculous rollovers and interest fees.

At this point, since it seems pretty obvious that your bank account information is in the hands of several people, your best bet is to do what the others are suggesting- close down that bank account now.

At this point, even if you were to get a hold of CMG and DJR and say, "Hey, I didn't ask for this money. Take it back." I'm sure they'd be like, "Whoops, sorry," and take it back alright, including fees and interest!

Does anyone know the address or how I can contact DJR Group? They keep taking money from me. Thanks.

I don't have an address for DJR- hopefully someone else does - but I agree with other posters; get that account closed and do it as quickly as possible, or these places will bleed you dry. When you go to the bank, talk to the manager about what's been happening; they've more than likely had to deal with similar situations in the past.

You have to read the terms and conditions and do NOT put your account number on ANY pay day loans over the internet. DJR deposited $300 in my account I had to pay back $510 Yes thats right they made $210 of me alone and you have to call them and make sure that they have cancalled your subscription. Good luck you will need it just be careful next time. It is a better choice to go somewhere local in your home town and than you would actually know who you spoke to and if there is a problem you will be able to say thats the person i spoke to unlike with this.
