i had asked this question on a different thread, but can't find which one it was, so forgive me for asking again.

What is the difference between a moneygram and a money order? Which is better way to go when paying these PDLs?

moneygram is basically wiring money.money orders you mail.moneygram howver can run between 5.00 to 25.00,it depends on how much and your fob point for the moneygram.just about everyone yours truly included endorse money orders, because if or when in some cases the pdl's claim they didn't recieve payment,it is easier to get your money back.

whiterock....I do the same thing. I can never remember where I put the post! Like Paul said, moneygram is a wire transfer, money order goes through the snail mail. I sent my PayDayMax payment to CPD on Saturday and when I called on Monday morning they already had it. It does cost money to send a Moneygram ($6.95) but since it was a one time thing, I went for it, basically to get them out of my hair.

i, too, prefer money orders but one time i did send a money gram to pay off a credit card company real fast. it did cost alot but it was over with quickly.
but that was before i even validated my debts! now i'd only send money order. if they say no to that, they won't get money. i also don't buy into those prepaid cards, i find alot of companies dont want money orders because they dont want to give out an address.
