can an account be deleted on just one credit agency?

I had some collections accounts deleted from my credit report from Transunion, but one of those accounts wasn't deleted by Equifax. Can they do that? what should I do.

Not all the credit bureaus update their reports at the same time. Hence, it may happen that Equifax will delete the account at the next update.
However, if you are facing the problem for quite some time them you may require to ask the creditor to report the account as 'settled' to the credit bureau. I guess it will straighten out the matter. Keep us posted with the developments. :D
