Can anyone give me any tips for writing a counterclaim
letter? I called the court and she said I had to send
a letter but in Massachusetts, I can only sue for $2000
I would like to transfer it to district court and be able to get more from the collection agency if possible.
I am also trying to find figures on how much I can sue for for each violation. Also, can I sue for the suffering they caused me? What amount should I enter? I don't want to be sue happy, I just want to be reimbursed for the damages they caused.

Welcome to the forum Guest.
Could you give me a better idea on what is going on?
For fdcpa violations it's $1,000 in statutory damages, for FCRA violations it's $1,000 per violation in statutory damages. Punitive damages which could be pain and suffering, mental anguish, etc.

I sued and won a claim against AT&T for amount of money they alleged the owed. They defaulted on payment the court ordered them to pay me. There was a corpes out for them I recieved a letter explaining that they delected any information from my credit report. and collection agencies, but failed to pay the judgemnt amount owed to. I just recieved my credit report and they never removed the amount they said I owed them.
Not only did I win the court case against them for that amount but a judgement to be paid to me. How much can I sue them for for clearly damaging my credit against a court order. Please reply to my e-mail addres.
