I used the "validation rewrite" letter that was posted here, with a few minor changes. Obviously that letter calls for a cease and desist -- aka stop calling me, jerks.
But miraculously, as if on cue, King Chandler called again yesterday (4/7) and left a recorded voice mail. He asked, as usual, for an immediate call back.

However, if it is the other way as JCEMT has mentioned then it is worth giving them a call.

King Chandler, (if that is his real name) is a charmer...good luck in dealing with him. He likes to talk over you and doesn't listen to anything you tell him. He will try to bully you by referring to things on your credit report but stops short of actually confirming that they have pulled it. Good luck dealing with the slime ball.
