I was scheduled for cancer surgery, and the hospital wanted 1300 down, even though I have very good insurance. I didn't have that type of cash, so I went to Payday Loan Store and got a loan for $1200. While I was in the hospital (4 days later) they decided to deposit my check, even though payment wasn't due for another 13 days. It just happened that the bank had deposited a company's deposit into my account by mistake, so the checks were covered. When I got home, I went to the bank, and told them what was going on. The bank returned the checks, and put a stop payment on them so they couldn't do it again. Mind you, PDLS called to verify funds, which is why they put it in. Now, I have this place calling me four and five times per day. I just had 2 more sets of surgery, and told them I'm on STD through work, that I would try to work out something, but they are calling and threatening me left and right, and threatening my children that they are going to get kicked out of the apartment, etc. Unfortunately, I also have 2 small online loans for $300 each, and each time I get my paycheck for my STD, they take out the interest, and it's killing me. How can I put a stop to this? I need to get out of this trap so I can get my life (what's left of it) back on track.

Patricia- someone with more knowledge will be along shortly to help you. I can however tell you that the first thing you need to do is either close your account and open a new one or place a hard ACH debit block on your account. You need to get your money safe before you start fighting these companies. Also please post what state you live in, the names of your PDLS, whether they are storefront or internet, and how much so far you have paid in total even the interest.
