I applied for a loan with Usa Payday Loans. They sent me an email stating that I needed to send more information such as bank account, paystub, etc. I did that and after a minute I had second thoughts. Well, when I called them she asked me to verify my social and of course I gave her a false one and the lady was like you have one more time to give me your correct social or we are going to turn you over to there fraud division and local authorities. Is that something they can do? I wasn't trying to defraud them. I was hoping she would just say we can't process the application.Do they have a case?

yeah I sent them all my information and I called and I think I asked her if she received it. When, she asked me my social I gave her a bogus one like 3 times and she was like we have you on recorded line etc. I live in Florida.

If it were me, I would call back and tell them you changed your mind. Those online applications ask for your social security number, so they already have it. If you put the name of this company in the search box in the upper right hand corner of this forum, you can read other posts by members who have dealt with them.

sorry I forgot to log in. But, no I never received any money from them. I called them today to talk to the fraud department and someone asked for my social and I was like why do you need that. She was like but we have different departments in the fraud division so I just disconnected the line.

Yes, they have my banking information. So do you think that I need to close the account? Thanks James I was very concerned about it.

If they have not given you money, you do not need to do anything. They will not bother you or touch your account. Just to be clear, and certain I am on the same page as you, you are calling 866-666-2233? I want to be sure I'm giving you advice about the correct company. If so, and you do not have a loan with them, don't worry about a thing. Let it go.

I'm with bossy on this big time. A pdl company has your bank account information. To "not lose sleep over it" is beyond me! I would lose sleep over it! Just knowing one pdl has my bank account information is bad enough, whether I received the loan or not. Pdls share their information. If one has it, you have no idea how many others will have it.

That's a bit general. Here's why. USA PDL operates as a stand alone company, not a lead generation source. To date, they do not operate multiple sites. So, with your premise, they would be sharing your info with competitors. Unless you believe that PDL companies actually like one another and don't compete like normal businesses, that would be ridiculous. To date, I don't know of any stories involving them ACHing accounts of non-customers. With that logic, customers paid off and in good standing would be randomly ached. They may be scumbags, but your argument and generalities don't hold much weight on this one.

Sorry, tend to disagree with james. I mean, if he's insisting USA PayDay would "never do that", then I want to know HOW he knows that. Also, I have been debited by pdls (refering to your posts above). Hello! Pdls DO do this. I don't know if james is saying USA PayDay is "above" all this, and if they are, I still don't believe it. Maybe I could be wrong. However, I have dealt with many pdls from legal ones to illegal ones. So, (again refering to your posts above) I do not trust ANY ONE OF THEM. Whether it be USA PayDay on line pdl or a local legal storefront. I don't care. When you've been put through the ringer by plds, you learn the hard way what they can be capable of.

You go Goudah, I am with you all the way; anyone no matter a pdl or what; someone having access to my accounts is not safe. Period.

I built their software system, and I know how ach files are generated. A customer can only be ached if their status shows as "Active" or "collections" status. Someone who hasn't had a loan will show as "NLI" - no longer interested. If you'd like to make a case against unencrypted data, be my guest. That I won't argue.

We aren't saying someone who hasn't had a loan with them will get ach'ed. We are saying if you have had a loan with them, do not give them your new account info.

I don't think you are understanding what we are talking about here . . . . We are talking about people that would be in collection status, so from your own words they would be ach'ed!

Below is the post I'm responding to all this time. Of course I'm going to agree with you that once a PDL has begun aching your account there are issues, serious ones. I'd have to be a moron not to. Clearly this person says they did not get a loan, so I was telling them not to be concerned that they will have money taken out of their account for no reason.
