Hey, all.

So I've settled all but 4 of my PDL hassles:

SSM - had the nerve to tell me I agreed to their "governing laws" and not my state laws when I accepted the loan...WHATEVER

Geneva Roth - the CSR called me AFTER they got the letter saying "let's discuss the letter" - I didn't, instead I sent an email saying the CSR needed to contact me via email - hasn't yet

PaydayLoanYes (Cash500) - got hold to a dumbazz who was shell shocked when I told him to give me the license number allowing him to lend in my state - he then threatened me and I sent a very nasty email back to them. Haven't heard from them since

Have not heard from Authorized Payday yet (owe them under 10 bucks).

Now, they all had until 4/20/08 to respond, according to the letter I sent, accepting the repayment terms. They have not responded. What is the next step? Do I update the AGs, BBBs, etc?

Also, I filed a massive complaint against Wachovia on PlanetFeedback as they never closed my account as promised and I now have $1200 in NSF charges from the morons that keep trying to debit AFTER their privileges were revoked.

Thank you all for your help with this and a special shout out to Goudah! :D

Congrats! :D

Geneva Roth and Cash Net 500 can be extremely hard to deal with . . . . Just keep at them and they will eventually go away.

One thing to be aware of - Geneva Roth has a habit of finding people's new bank accounts. Your new bank needs to be a bank that doesn't use Chexsystems at all to verify new accounts. And don't apply for any more pdl's. If you can cover those bases, and not write many checks/give account info out to a bunch of places, your new account should be fairly safe. But never leave all your money in it.

It's not certain - Just from my experience I've heard of people getting hit on their new account from geneva roth . . . . I would say keep the account, but open another somewhere else. Split your money, so that one account never has all your funds.

Keep watch on the account. If it is hit, you can dispute and get it all back. It's just a pain!

I think you will be okay - Just follow the advice above about not keeping all your money in one place. And watch your account closely.

I'm not saying for sure it will happen, only that they have a track record of getting into people's new bank accounts. It's just a possibility I want you to be aware of.

I've made my complaints, sent my revoke/C&D ltrs to PDLs, complained against Wachovia on PF and these jerks are still debiting after being notified!

Wachovia told me they closed the account and haven't. I now have 1300 in NSF charges.

Looks like I'm gonna have to call a consumer atty after all.

What do I do?!

This happens, unfotunatly.

Go back tp Wachovia - Tell them that these charges are unauthorized, and request that they all be removed and all NSF charges reversed. If they don't agree, file a complaint with the OCC (Office of the Comptroller of Currency) that is the agency that regulates national banks.

Hi TXPDLHELL.........what letter did you use to send to these pdl's? I sent a letter to two companies last Wednesday and have not heard anything. I did take out a loan with a company called Cash Central and I think they are licensed, but in my state, they are illegal. They keep calling me and I am not sure if I can send them a letter because they are licensed.

So Wachovia FINALLY zero'd out my account and closed it. I still have the 4 that won't budge but will find out this week that the account is closed FOR REAL this time.

So I'm looking for the FUN to begin next week. I still have AIP who I have yet to find any valid contact info - namely a fax number. But that's okay because all the complaints are filed. FastCash tried to debit almost $1400 AFTER being told to stop so I'm just WTG for them to jump up because I intend to rip them a new one!

But I'm feeling good! Thanks for all your help.

I met with a consumer atty yesterday to discuss the remaining beasts. I have enough ammo to go after them and HARD.
