Read an interesting story from Florida this morning; a 17 year old took out a PDL, then went to use the money to buy drugs (!!!), and ended up getting robbed. The weird story aside, I was wondering, are there age limits to who can get PDL's, esp. at storefronts? Seventeen seems a bit young, to me. Or do they let anyone have PDL's as long as the person has a job/checking account?

I'm assuming you would have to be 18 for a storefront to lend to you. But seeing as this person is using the money to buy drugs, in all likeliness, they were using a fake id. Who knows, the banking information and etc. may all have been forged/stolen.

But then again, if you are already stealing identities and forging ids and banking information, you may as well just rob somebody for the money to buy drugs
