You are going to have to close your account before they can get any more money. Then send them a C & D letter. After that start filing all of the complaints you can to the BBB and the AG in your state and theirs. I delt with them in the fall. I did this and they seem to have disappeared. I have not heard from them since November

CTC is one of the worst out there! They are related to Northway Debit and Sonic Payday, which are notorious. A few things I would do: First off, make sure that you revoke any authorizations you signed for a wage assignment, which allows them to garnish your paycheck should you default. I promise you, they will try it--as they tried with me. Do this with your Payroll Dept tomorrow in writing. If you fax this, get an extension and a name of the person who received it and call to confirm they got it.
Now I know this company has been banned in several states, with California at the top of the list. I would also check and see if they have been banned in your home state. You can do this by going to your Dept of Corporations' website and checking.
You also need to complain to the FTC since this company is located outside of the USA. They have offices in Ireland, Canada and Malta and MUST be stopped.

Ginurse, take it from the voice of experience:
They do NOT make arrangements. I can tell you that the only way you are going to be free of these people is to close your bank account, default on the loan and revoke that wage assignment! I know, because I had to do it. Otherwise, they will continue to suck you dry, I can tell you that. You are going to have to play hardball with them, as they will with you.

I do not know who their processor is. You can call your bank and ask for the info on the transaction or you can call Intercept EFT (1-800-378-3328) or ACH Commerce (1-800-724-8780) and ask if they process for
them. If so, report that you have revoked ACH authorization and they will continue to debit anyhow. There is a sticky above on this process. Check it out.

Some of the ways they play hardball is by sending some paperwork directly to your employer's payroll dept., advising that you took out a loan for "X" amount, and have been unable/unwilling to pay it back according to loan terms, so they are exercising their right and your voluntary agreement to have them garnish your wages.
Depending on how big your payroll dept is, how with-it the payroll employees are, etc., CTC have been able to get their money this way, as some people in payroll do not question the legitimacy and legalities, just garnish wages according to the request.
Also, this company has been known to contact your direct supervisor and advise that you are not honoring a financial obligation, which can be quite embarrassing. Obviously, this is not legal, but this company is not operating legally.
They have also been known to start harassing people you used as references on your loan application.
CTC
KSCornell, just to keep things accurate, CTC does not have offices in Ireland, Malta or the United States. The only offices are in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Surrey, British Columbia. Ireland, Malta and the US are only mailing addresses that forward mail to the Winnipeg address.

ginurse, it wouldn't hurt to try finding out who the processor is that electronically moves funds for Cash Transfers, just call your bank and tell them you NEED to know the name and phone number of the ACH processor for Cash Transfers. If the first person won't help you, or refuses, or appears not to understand what you are talking about, ask to speak with a supervisor, or even better the Branch Manager, you may need to be persistent in getting the ACH processor's name. Just explain that you have revoked authorization for them [Cash Transfers] to debit your account, but you fear they will continue trying, and they are not being cooperative, make sure you mention they do NOT have a license to be a lender, therefor making them illegal. Read information about ACH processors at the link below.

Once they fail at wage assignment they will send a settlement offer under the name of a different company which is still them. It will be as much as 50 percent. I dealt with them before. Not to dispute what was said earlier but I do believe they are based out of Malta.
