Discover; Chase; Citizens... Are any impossible to settle?
Date: Mon, 05/05/2008 - 05:52
I am talking about with a debt settlement company.
I have...
CHASE: 11k and 3.3k
DISCOVER: 7k
CITIZENS: 5.5k
About 26k in total debt and I have never missed a payment, but am now at a point where I can longer pay. It's pay the monthly payments or eat. I now need to choose to eat. We are as close to bankrupcy as one can get.
I'm talking with Super debt relief, which has mostly good word of mouth here, but I am worried about DISCOVER, which I see is really hard to deal with, and also the fact that it will be impossible to settle any of these cards any time soon because it takes time to build up money in the debt settlement account.
Yes, they all should settle. What percentage is your debt settle

That's a bit to high, I was doing it with Atlas. They offered 55%. I am a bit sceptical now since I could not find them on the BBB, however I don't know everything that I was sent hasn't been all that untrustworthy (attorney papers).
And to answer your question, they all do settle.

There is a huge thread on them and they have mostly positive word of mouth here. Far better than most.
And they quoted me 50 to 60%, but I just listed 60% here. Sorry I was not being specific.
