Hey all so I just received a response from the Little Loan Shoppe and it states...."Customer agreed to 10 pymts of $60= $600. Im really sorry for her that we did not pay her off when asked. So far she has paid 5 pymts with 2 returned. I will accept $120 to have the account paid in full."

HA!! How incorrect I paid 7 pymts with 2 returned so basically she thinks I only paid 180 and shes requesting 120 more to equal 300. And guess what I already paid the 300. So I rejected the offer obviously. So we will see what happens.

Yea thats just admitting that they were wrong....and whats funny is before they got my C & D letter they called me and I told them that I sent numerous emails asking to pay off and they ignored them and the lady on the phone said that they never got any emails from me...so this comment just admits that they did

I also received a response from the BBB about Little Loan Shoppe. Here is what they said:

"About this client? She took out the loan on the internet & signed a contract in Utah and still owes $560.00. The contract signed was for 10 equal pmts of $90.00 for which she has not done. So further more were not calling her loan paid in full. She can make arrangement to pay this off."

I have already paid back the $300.00 I borrowed and with the finance charge allowed in Illinois. I responded back and said this was unacceptable. They want me to pay $900.00 for a $300.00 loan-THEY MUST BE CRAZY!!!

I complained to the BBB and I received a refund and pif letter.

Which pdl company was it, and congrats!!!

It was The Loan Shop. I explained to the BBB how I didn't know that the loan shop didn't have a license in my state and before I took out the laond. they asked me what relief I wanted I wanted a pif and a refund for the overpayment.
