Hello All,

Another question. I am dealing with NCO right now. As some of you may know the FTC filed a huge lawsuit in the amount of 1.5 mil against them in 04? guess what. my account with them is right in that time frame and i lived in that state (PA) at the time. I will admit the collectors I have dealt with have been very nice, maybe its because I called them about paying the debt or maybe its my charm ha ha...regardless i requested they update the 3 CR agencies about my payments and that I am paying as agreed. They have not done so. Anyone have an idea of a letter to request this that sounds sophisticated?

My Thanx
Indebted:)

actually, the CA has to inform the OC about
your paying your bill.it is the OC who has
to mark it PIF in your credit report.

They must update their reporting to report accurate info. Collector owns their tradeline and oc owns theirs. A simple dispute to the cra will force them to update. If they verify then send them a dirty letter stating they have failed at their obligation to report correct info to a cra.You must dispute with the cra's in writing certified return receipt mail to trigger your rights to accurate info.
