Hello thoeypgh and welcome! I don't have that information for you, unfortunately, but if you call your bank, speak with the branch manager, and request that information, they SHOULD give it to you. Explain to them that even though you have revoked ach authorization to them, they continue to make attempts to debit your account, and you want their processor to be aware of this illegal activity! Be persistant!
Good luck, and please let us know the outcome.

If you call the processor first, you may be able to circumvent some of this maze. But you have to let the PDL know that you have done just that. Give them names, addresses, phone numbers of the people you contact.

I spoke with my bank and the woman said that she couldn't give me the information. Gail at ACH Commerce told me they don't process for PayCheckToday and Cindy at Intercept told me she was unable to tell me due to their privacy policy. Should I keep trying at my bank or does anyone know who the processor for PayCheckToday is? thoeypgh |
I don't have that information, but that's a new one on me. If Cindy said she was unable to give you that info because of their privacy policy, then ask her for her email address so you can send her a copy of the ACH revocation and also send her proof that paycheck today continued to attempt debiting your account even AFTER they were informed NOT too, which is clearly a violation of the Electronic Transfer Act, I would also stress to Cindy, IF they are the ones who are processing for Paycheck today, and they allowed that attempted transaction to go through, that would place them in violation also, therefore, it would be in their best interest to contact their client (Paycheck today) and inform them they will no longer process any more requested transactions on your account. Apply pressure on them, all they can do is respond that Paycheck today isn't their client, and if they do that, then at least you'll know they aren't their processor.

Mr. XXX,
You should have your loan documents that would be where you need to send your notifications to. I can not tell you which of the companies that Intercept processing for, due to privacy policies that we have in place.
yup...that is there stance at intercept...i got the same response. but she did say that she would contact them for me and let them know about the complaint. however, she stood the stance that intercept is not a financial institution..the bank is...and the EFT act only applies to financial institutions. i showed her other documents saying otherwise..and she stopped responding to me.

thoeypgh, call your bank again..ask to speak with a manager in your bank's ach processing dept; if they don't have a processing dept ask to speak with a manager or superv that handles bank to bank direct debit transactions. My bank freely gave to me the pdl's bank & phone # and the acct # associated with the debits to my acct.
