I've looked at RCA Credit Repair company. According to the BBB, they have pretty 'positive' posts. has anyone dealt with them? Just would like to know of any experiences from anyone. Thanks.

they are a scam. I just sent $$$ for the services; no return phone calls, no response to e-mail. There are numerious postings of lost money torca.

They took my money too and I got no return phone call or a response of any kind. Just google them and you will see! DO NOT waste your time or your money!

Well...thanks for the advice, ya all! I did call, sometime ago, about some information, on how they 'work.' The rep, I talked to, did make everything seem so 'simple' ( lack of a better word.) I never signed anything or sent them any money. They continually send 'updated' e-mail, like "we haven't heard from you yet", etc.

there is no such thing as "credit repair". A pattern of paying bills on time is the best (& only) way to improve your credit score. Also by keeping your used vs available credit limits low will increase your score. Do not believe anything else any of these "scam" companies are telling you. I filed bankruptcy back in 1995 so my credit score tanked, as you can imagine. After paying bills on time my credit score rose to 720 which is considered good. I even bought a new house in 2006. if you have a poor score you can improve your credit with time and some effort. Do not believe these companies that promise to "repair" your credit - they will just take your money....

Some people are in so much debt, they look for 'magic' answers ( including myself). We ALL know they aren't any, but we keep looking anyway. Or...those who DO use debt consolidation companies...I'm glad these companies work for them. ALOT of the ones I've come across are scam ones.
