I just got this email from 3bpaydayloans.

Thank you for contacting 3 B Pay Day Loans for your financial needs, we appreciate your inquiry.

Dear ######,
I am pleased to inform you that you will be refunded a total amount of $471.25 on 05/09/08. This payment will give you a $0.00 balance with our company. If you wish to reapply for another loan, please wait three (3) full business days after your funds have been deducted to reapply. Thanks for your time and patience!

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance or you can call our customer service department at 1-866-355-6817 during normal business hours.

Sincerely,

Customer Service

I emailed them stating I needed a money order not to credit my account because it was not available anymore. We will see what they say. I am not sure if my account is on credits only or if they are both on there.

How funny is it that they say they will refund me and then say I can reapply for a loan. Don't they usually say I will no longer be able to? I am running away far far away!!!

Also look how this is worded....It says I will be refunded the money then it says the payment will bring me to a zero balance. Then it tells me to wait two days to reapply after the money is deducted.

Now that I read it again I am confused!!!!. I over paid them by $471.25. I assume I am getting the refund and the wording of the email was wrong. I did email them before posting here and re-reading what they sent to me and told them that I needed a money order and I wanted to confirm that my account was marked paid in full and that any collections on the account would be discountinued.

I am wondering if they will reply to my message I sent them. It said they would deposit it tomorrow and I just got the email so it may already be in process. Again I am not sure if they just put the account on credits only or if they block them both. I guess I will see tomorrow when I go to log on to my bank account.

I just wanted to check my account now and I can't even get on the website it will not bring it up. I am wondering what is going on. It will not even go to the home page. Also the first block they had put on it was no debits or credits. Then I got a little bit of money back from the bank and I withdrew it and I am not sure if they put it back to the way it was or to just credits only. I will have to see if I can ever get the website to come up. I have been researching the company they have nothing but complaints!

I know I was suprised. They are refunding the full amount that I overpaid. I had sent them six letters and never heard from them. I contacted the BBB and they did not respond to them as of today. I also contacted my AG and as far as I know they have not contacted them. When I looked them up on the bbb they did not have a rating and it looked like they had just started so maybe they just want to make sure they will not get the bad reports against them. We will see what they come up with tomorrow. I am not celebrating until I get the money though!!!! I am sorry you are still at work!

Hi, mj! :D First of all, congratuations! You will be receiving a refund! I think you're confused regarding this part:

I'm taking this to mean that since you had OVERPAID the loan (of course) that would mean that you would have a "credit balance" on your account. With the refund being deducted from the "credit balance", it'll go to a zero balance. Cool!

Please post and let us know if you get that refund!

HAPPY DANCE!!!!!!! :D

I of course did not get the refund today as said. My account is on hold so it will not accept and debits or credits. I talked to the bank today, being on hold for 25 minutes, they said it did not go through and they could not even tell if they tried. I had emailed the company yesterday telling them that I needed a money order AS REQUESTED in my letters and this is what they sent to me today.

Thank you for contacting 3 B Pay Day Loans for your financial needs, we appreciate your inquiry.

Dear #####,
I do apologize at this time but your funds were deposited into your account on 05/08/08. It will take 4 days for the funds to be returned to us if your account is no longer active. Thanks for your time and patience!

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance or you can call our customer service department at 1-866-355-6817 during normal business hours.

I asked my bank and they told me that they know IMMEDIATLY that is was not accepted so I don't know why they are saying 4 days. I emailed them back and told them exactly what my bank said and told them I needed a usps money order sent to me asap. We will see what they respond with. I want to make sure they honor there refund.

I wonder if the ACH processor for them would be able to direct it to your new account... just a thought. Th oly downfall would be of coarse if they notified the PDL on your new account info.

On your success I am re-emailing the ones that I way overpaid once again requesting a refund. I sent an e-mail to M1Y and it was returned as undeliverable :(

WI guy...Believe me I have already emailed them a couple of times today. I am going to keep emailing them until I get my answer to when I will receive my money order. I basically told them in the email that my back said they were notified immediatly that the funds did not go through so I did not think I should have to wait anymore time because I have waited long enough. It has been almost two months since I have been sending the refund request. We will see what they say. I am sure they will stick to saying it will have to be 4 days till they can do anything.

IAM SOOOOOO FED UP WITH MY BANK. I called yesterday to find out about the refund deposit that I was told would be there. After 25 minutes of being on hold they came back and said they talked to the branch who I bank with and said that my account was on hold funds and that their could be NO CREDITS or DEBITS. They also told me that they did not see any credits pending and the reason for this is because of the hold funds. The company would be notified that it did not go through.

Well guess what....it was there this morning. After I have emailed several times to the company telling them what my bank said. Now I look like an A** because it went through when I said it would not. It is to early to call the bank now but I am going to call the branch and ask why it went through when yesterday I was told it did not. Then I will be going in and removing the money and making sure it is put back on hold funds.

Why is it that nobody at that bank can EVER give me the right answer or know what they are talking about?

I called the bank and explained what was going on. (a different branch) They said I could come and take out the money but they would have to call the other branch to have the hold removed. When I went in there I had to explain a lot of the story about how it all started before they would give me the money. I asked why I was told it would not be deposited and they said it should not have gone through. It somehow "just" did. Does anyone there know what the heck they are talking about?!!!????

I forgot to say when I had asked about putting the block back on I asked how long they could put the hold for because the other branch said they could do it for only 10 days and I would have to keep calling and having them do it. She said she put it on for 999 days. Funny how she could do it and not them. Also she told me one other thing... she said that if I close the account that after 30 days of being closed it will never open again even if they try to debit. I was told originally that it would just keep opening. It is amazing how you get different answers by different people!

guest...I had called them because really to be honest I am tired of all the lies they have told me in the past. I did go and get my money as you can see that I posted after you left a comment. I truly want to know why no one can give me a straight answer. I have had the run around several times and you have to understand the whole story of why I want to know. I don't know how a company can stay in business with such problems.

I can say that I have been investigating the bank and they have major problems. There have been major complaints against them and I can see why. I am so glad that I did not get another account there when I went in there with these problems. The lady today asked why I did not open another one when they suggested it. I told her it was not suggested to me to open another one there and I just wanted to go with another bank. Please understand I have so many problems with thme and that is why I question the answers they give me!

Cannr thanks.....I am glad too. I have been able to close two of them with refunds and marked paid in full so far.

I would never have been able to do any of this if I had not found this forum. I am so greatful to everyone here and all of the help I have received.

By the way Cannr this is actually MJ. You have been helping me on another thread. I had to open a new user name because I could not get the password to the original one.
