Same Report - Same Date - Different Information

I have been monitoring and working on improving my crdit for 5 years now since my divorce and my ex-husband ruined my credit ... So I belong to truecredit (along the years I have done MyFico, Identity Guard, BofA Monitoring, etc) and I stay on top of my changes and watch my score ...
Monday afternoon I updated my score & report - I get all 3 agencies and I am well aware that the 3 reporting agencies often vary. Monday night I went to a car dealership to buy a new car, they pulled up my experian report and gave it to me to review.
One derrogatory item that I knew about was a credit card that I had jointly with my ex, he took it when he left and charged away then stopped making payments. After I finally learned about it was in collections and then of course disputed but since originally I had co-signed for there was nothing I could do and I reluctantly paid it off in full over a year ago. My Experian report on TrueCredit shows this account as "derrogatory" but PAID with a ZERO balance. The Experian report the car dealership pulled up on Monday had this account as "derrogatory" but with the original charged off balance - NOT PAID!
I actually went online and pulled up my report to show the finance manager that this did show paid on my end. He says he has never seen that happen before. I have also never pulled up the same report from the same credit reporting agency and seen different information that same day. I pulled my report up Tuesday and today as well and it still shows paid (truecredit lets you update daily) so I dont know what is up with the dealership's report. The finance manager made a copy of the report for me so that I could send it to Experian and find out what was wrong.
Has anyone else had this happen? Same report, same day, same agency, different information???

I have not had this happen, but I think the only thing you can do is write to Experian with all the backup documents you have, and see if they can straighten it out.
Let us know how it goes!

Also don't depend on a true credit report to dispute with as the layout differs from the original reports. When in doubt pull a report directly from the bureau to see reporting changes.

I pulled from Experian today and it matches my truecredit exactly ... so I am sending Experian report today along with the Experian report from Monday night at the car dealership to find out why this would be ...
