I am considering trying this method out they are affiliated with ccdnlaw.com they seem legit but can't find anything either negative or positive about on the internet just wondering if anyone has any info on them
their web sites are

thecreditcardsolutin.com

ccdnlaw.com

*links deactivated as per the forums rule-Jason

They use the same strategy as another company called Federal Debt Relif System. They basically try to claim the debt is invalid. These programs don't work and basically try to prey on desparate people. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. I tried to find them on the BBB and found nothing. Be warned I do not suggest you do business with either thecreditcardsolutin.com or FDRS.

There are several organizations claiming they can help you invalidate, "zero-out", eliminate, or erase your credit card and other unsecured debts because banks are not legally permitted to extend credit. Although it is true that banks are not permitted by law to extend credit, they are legally permitted to monetize credit card and other unsecured loan applications through the Federal Reserve.

Contrary to what conspiracy theorists and these organizations claim, it is extremely rare for a bank or other original creditor to invalidate, or "zero-out", a debt when an account holder questions its validity.

if there are fdcpa violations, not all cc CA'S violate the FDCPA to claim that as blanket claim is false.

All these companies are legit and work. No program is perfect but the debt collectors literally violate every time they try to collect so there are always fdcpa violations. It is just how many. The collectors don't want to get sued so they settle. CCDN has helped me with my debt and I had over $50K in debt. All of them were zeroed out. You have nothing to loose so call them and make sure they work with the CCDN.

No, not ALL of these companies are legit, nor are they ALL successful as you claim they were in your case, and for you to make a generalization like that is completely unfair to the unsuspecting public. Nor does EVERY Debt Collection Company violate the law, another generalization.

The system works...The process is simple and very effective.. I used them to eliminate 63,000 of debt.. it took them 17 months but my credit is back up to 780"s.. my monthly minimum payments of that debt were destroying my life.. I had no other choice, but today Im free of all that burden.. so to those that think they know and are convinced it is a scam... I say this... the whole credit card banking system is the biggest scam of all which almost destroyed my life.. And now Ill never ever ever be a slave to them again

What is your proof Paul? I have a few friends interested in their program but I am always skeptical. My program worked with CCDN but I am curious about your scam comments.
I got one of my friends in also and hers is going well. Three accounts handled and two in the process of settling for under 15 cents on the dollar. I even just saw an e-mail that one CCDN client got almost $70K in debt wiped out.
I don't think that sounds like a scam but I want to make sure I don't advise my friends improperly.

I have never joined a forum on the net before, so bare with me. We paid the Credit Card Solution program thousands of
dollars to help us with several cc acc's. We were promised by
their fearless leader, Bob, that they could definately help us by taking the 3rd party debt collectors to Fed Court, and that their letter violations of not validating the debt could be used against them. Well, heads up folks, now I'm getting statements from CCDN stating that they can not do anything with letter violations. ONLY if they commit a MAJOR PHONE VIOLATION, or many smaller phone violations within a short period of time can/ or will they consider taking them to Fed Court. And if the attorney that they offer your case to, in your state, doesn't think its a strong enough case for him to make his money on their fines, he simply won't take it, and you're stuck.
These debt collectors and attorneys are not stupid and they are not commiting phone violations. I know - I've talked to them and answered their calls for months now, and I'm dealing with 6 different cc co's ! They are polite enough on the phone and do nothing we can hold against them that would be a violation.
Meanwhile they are taking us to court, we file all the discovery questions supplied by CCDN, they answer our discovery questions with vague/rediculus answers, or refuse to answer at all, CCDN does nothing about it, and we loose. These judges see copies of back cc statements and thats all they need to judge in favor of the cc companies and/or 3rd part debt collectors.

You'll get one set of promises from The Credit Card Solution company until they get your money, and then you're passed off to CCDN which tells you another whole set of rules and what they can't do to help you. We have done everything CCDN has
told us to do, so its not like we're dropping the ball on our end.
We just lost 25K in court and we will be loosing another 16K in court in just a few weeks.
IF they actually DO SOMETHING to help I will be the first one
back on here to tell everyone.... but don't hold your breath.

And for the people posted on here that say they actually helped you. I would REALLY like to talk to you and find out just what they did or who helped you. I've talked to 6 different people with both of these companies and have gotten nothing but the run around and excuses as to why our accounts have not been helped.

Robert M Lindsey of the creditcardsolution is the problem not the solution
Snakeoil salesmen are on the net who are clever about marketing debt programs, but definitely don't have any solutions except getting the consumer in a deeper mess
These so called programs only benefit the crooks like
Lindsey,(CCDN) Robert K Lock jr, Phil manger, Tracy Webster, Mark Cella and Rob Britten (FDRS) Richard Russ and Gregg Britt of R&G Marketing
Poor Debtors fall prey to these scammers all the time, unfortunately.
Their was a Class Action Lawsuit filed in the Northern District Of Illinois against Robert K Lock and Phil Manger the masterminds of these scams

Bladen county is in North Carolina. Several other lawsuits have been filed there against CCDN, Robert Lock, Colleen Lock, Philip Manger, Tracy Webster and other parties, including Mark Cella & FDRS, all by the same attorney.

Here's the kicker... Christopher Livingston, the plaintiff's counsel in each case, was approached by CCDN about representing some of their clients, realized what they were peddling was a bunch of BS, and opted to represent the CCDN clients against CCDN instead.

i know tom321 has posted about this type of program. I know this, it may work it may not, but it is fishy smelling isnt it? so why would you trust something like that? and besides the cc companies are going to eventually figure it out and you are going to be left high and dry. You dont think that they are looking for this? the more popular it gets, the less likely it will work. I would not be willing to bet my money on that risk

there are, but you must be sure you know all the information and research fully. See who everyone else is using, what people have to say about them, if they did as promised, all complaints are resolved through the bbb, see if they are members of the tasc, or other types of programs that make them follow particular guidelines. you must be very vigilant about the companies that will be handling your debt. I think people panic and just join any program without the proper research. If you take the time you will find them!

I used CCDN to zero out a total of $97K and I am so thankful I found them. I had to take calls by the collection people and write down what they said but it worked just like they said it would. What a relief to be out of debt! And my credit score is slowly creeping up and I even got a $1000K new credit card from Chase. CCDN is worth every penny.

I was reading "Pauls" comments at first and then I did some due diligence and found out that Paul Cohen is a competitor of all the companies he is talking trash about!

Paul Cohen appears to run a company called Credit Defense League and guess what they offer the same service as that CCDM firm only CCDM is actually run by licensed attorneys and Credit Defense League is run by a non attorney who it looks like is giving legal advice without license!

Hey Paul tell the forum what your real motives are.......could it be that you are a troll trying to badmouth others to gain business advantage???

Paul Cohen= Troll

Anyone can see your running the same type of business and competing against the guys and program your bad mouthing. CCDN just got 28K of debt erased for me. No more harrasing phone calls and my credit score is better. Your a fraud!

Guys if you are being harrased by creditiors and thinking of BK look into this program today. Those harasments are usually breaking your legal rights and you can help stop this treatment while getting debt free! I did!

In response to Pete Berg - GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. I am a client of Paul Cohen's and he has been fantastic. He has helped me out so much more than CCDN did. CCDN screwed me over and lied. Everytime it came time for them to help me with a Lawsuit, they just totally ignored it. They are complete FRAUDS. Paul is NOT like them at all. He helps everyone who comes to him not like CCDN so don't even speak or call him names if you don't know any facts!

My husband was suckered in by CCDN, he paid $7500 without my knowledge. All of a sudden he gives me papers to sign after he's paid CCND this money. The debt was over $200,000!! He has eliminated one account and it's off my credit report. The rest who knows what will happen. To top it off soon-to-be ex-spouse is mentally ill and believe he fight the big companies and win. (Yes, I tried 3 times to get a medical power of attorney, but no luck.)

The process did work on one account clearing it off my credit, another had a suit filed, but they dropped it. It's been 21 months, and I don't know if any of the others will be cleared.

I would suggest that you not do business with this company. I am a client and have been for over three years. Unfortuantely when I began this nightmare there was not alot on the internet and they had a good BBB rating. By the way, check out the rating for Cattarugus, NY. It says it all. Although they are probably directing you to another address at this time. Anyone who claims to have been helped by CCDN has a high probablility of being a false posting. If not, maybe they will be part of their defense for the number of lawsuits pending. I doubt it though. I believe the reason you haven't read enough negative, although there is much now, is because people who have gone through this program have been financially & emotionally defeated. They are done and probably have chosen to NOT relive the nightmare.
I have 3 judgments, received wage & tax garnishments, have been lied to repeatedly by CCDN. The prior statement should indicate where my credit score is at this time.
Although this group has client's, I have only spoken to their victims. I am one of them.
By all means the choice is yours, but based on my experience, you will regret it. Try ANYthing else. If you are trying to avoid bankruptcy court, then avoid CCDN.

Yes, CCDN (Credit Collections Defense Network) is a scam. If you're looking to get out of debt, DO NOT contact these people. They want nothing more than to take whatever money they can from you and provide you NOTHING to assist with your situation. Stories and information regarding these fools can be found at www.ccdnscam.com

If you're a victim of CCDN, contact an attorney immediatley.

The State of West Virginia sued Bob Lock, Phil Manger, and CCDN LLC on 01 April 2010 for violating West Virginia consumer protection law and for unauthorized practice of law. WV wants a permanent injunction for them to knock it off, and damages for at least 20 WV residents who gave money to CCDN for no value. Wonder how many more state AGs will do likewise?
