If these guys are real then they will send a letter validating the debt? It is not fun to deal with these people and he leaves rude messages on a daily basis. I am tired of all of the harassment. He only calls during the day between 10-12 and I am at work.

Some of these companies have NO shame! I've gotten the "threat" calls, as well from the PDls' located in other countries. It got to where I almost enjoyed our verbal sparring matches! I was never threatened with "downloading," but they DID say they were going to come and get me. :roll: As to whether or not they'll send you a letter validating the debt, most of them don't; at least I've never gotten any letters...

He called and left a message at home this morning after he called here at work..still would not give his name...other then do not disregard this call.......hmmmm I just did....

He tells me his name is John Wilson I think but with his accent hard to tell...mumbles on about time sensitive matter...need to return the call do not disregard...then a regular number and cannot understand it. He has been leaving this message every day for a week now.

I'm 99.9% sure that the man that called for you is the same idiot that call for me the other day....only part of his name I got out was "wilson"....today it's frank miller..with the different number.....dont waste you time on it.....they cant do a thing to you.....without proof of the debt they dont have a leg to stand on...

I am just as sure that this is the same person. He is just really irritating because first of all he does not say what he is calling about, doesn't leave any information clearly, you can't understand his messages at all until he says at the end, if you do not return the call I can only wish you "Good Luck". Whatever that means...don't leave me a message that is unclear and then make statements like this.

He is very persistent but how can you call someone when you do not know his number and I am not calling long distance for something that may or may not be valid. If it were a true CA they would leave a 1-800# don't you think.

Left two more messages, left a phone number but I forgot to bring it with me to work, when you do a search for it there is information from other people stating that he calls them every day and leaves the same message that he is leaving me. Return the call, yes, ....your name....please call regarding a very serious time sensitive personal business matter, I am John Watson (I think that was the name), no company, no 1-800 number just a 220 or 202 number and if I do not return the call he can only wish me "good luck". Whatever send something in writing and leave a 1-800# don't most CA have 1-800# is they are real? This guy is really starting to get annoying. I am thinking of getting rid of my house phone since I have a cellular and he won't be able to call anymore and he doesn't have the cell number or work # so maybe he will go AWAY!!!

Any suggestions on this one, this guy has called every day but Monday (holiday) and leaves nasty messages you know urgent matter, time sensitive, please contact him, can't understand the number, John Watson is his name and if I don't call him, he wishes me "Good Luck". Such a ridiculous message but irritating none the less. I cannot contact because I do not understand the phone number and he does not sound like he will be anything but irrogant and insulting/demanding for payment of something I do NOT know what it is for. what i meant by load my friend is,this illitreate keeps calling and calling.now you are irritated.some people have changed there #'s.you shouldn't have to but sometimes that is the only thing that stops people like this.i meant it as a derrogatory term for him and all like him.

OK, paulmergel, I appreciate your feedback. I will as you say and continue to ignore him. I have told my parents about this irritating idiot and they know that I was scammed once before my Ellis & Crosby which I did complete an affidavit for that supposed law suit but never received any compensation.

I hope that he will stop. Still trying to debate getting rid of the home phone but don't know if the cell phone works good enough at home, cell towers are not too good where I live but it works good everywhere else.

I would change my home phone number. I would call him back and tell him if he can not give you proof that you owe the money then tell him to go to H________ :twisted: !, or you will hunt him down and give him an old fashion "beat down". :D

Anyone ever hear of a John Powers from Financial Crimes Division. States he has documents to be downloaded charging me with fraud blah blah blah.........I told him to send me a debt validation letter and he said I would get something in the mail after I paid. I told him no do what u have to do and I will go to court to straighten this out. This happened to me once before with Bass & associates said the same things to me, I told them do what you have to do. That was awhile ago.........I cant even understand thesse people from this place. Any insight on this woul dbe helpful.........thanks

The phone number was 901-328-9338. Said he was from Financial Crimes Division. He gave me an address of 3900 outland street or ave, in Memphis Tennesse. I couldnt find anything doing a search on this.

well there is no financial crimes division,it is a made up term by illegal bottom feeders.did you have a pdl?probably that's what he's calling about.again he is a collection bottom feeder,all he can do is call and threaten.i can assure you time will go by and his threats will become more comical.he can't do anything to you.

Yes,paulmergel is right. I've heard the same line of threats for a couple of years now. I have asked for something in writing and they all refuse each time. Do send them anything without validation first.

Here's a new one! I got back from lunch today and was told to call a "officer jack wilson" 818-688-7218...the kicker is...the receptionist said that when he called it gave a local number....our area code here is (574) The number he called from was 574-312-7014. Looks like a cell number...The number "jack wilson" wants me to call is 818-688-7218....I have not called either number. Just found that very funny...anyone else agree?

So the saga continues and John or Jack Wilson whatever his name is left another message on my home number with reference to "important matter", if I do not contact him immediately the serious matter will be escalated. The number on the phone was an international cell phone number that was weird. Don't have the number at work. Should I call him? I don't believe I have any outstanding payday loans out there except maybe one Instant Loan Today but National Credit Adjusters has contacted me regarding this and I have asked for a validation of debt which I have never received. They also stated that I had a No Faxing Payday Loan that I took out which I have no record of and requested validation of this debt.

So still he calls and it is beginning to make me nervous. I am really stressed this week, my Grandma passed away on Monday, she was 87 years old full life but it is still hard on me and my family. Say a prayer.

Any advice is appreciated with reference to this Wilson guy...foreign accent very irritating.

Gardnerjl I would ask for address to send debt validation request letter just to cover yourself and ignore phone the calls afterwards. What LEGAL 3rd party collector calls you from an international cell phone. :?: That is proof they are a circus in itself. If this was a LEGAl debt collection company they would usualy have sent you letters in the mail stating your account was refered to them for collections, and probably have an 800 number. So I would ignore these clowns, I know it is a lil frightning, but eventually they will give up. Seems the infamous "Jack Wilson" also contacted Tweety71 with the same nonsense. Why would you call from suspcious numbers and be very vauge in your threats? What are they really hiding? Hope this reassures you.

I got a call here at work yesterday from "officer jack wilson". Telling me that the same story....he read out my SS number and my OLD bank info...he told me I was going to be "downloaded" today. I told him to send me something in writing and he refused. I said well then I cant help you...he said " I will send someone out to pick you up!" I said "come and get me!"...Funny thing is this Officer Jack Wilson" sound EXACTLY like all the other calls I have gotten...he is just using different names each time he calls....He dont know that I have 2 out of 3 messages he left on my answering machine at home saved!

He goes by these names that I know of

"Gabe Wilson"
"Frank Miller"
"Officer Jack Wilson"

It is a international number he calls from too. I am not calling any numbers he gives me. This is a scare tactic and I'm finding it very amusing anymore.

Still have phone calls from this guy. He has changed his name now and speaks a little clearer but it is the same guy. Could not catch the last name but the first one is Michael. Has anyone ever spoken to anyone at this company? Any of these foreign people? I am just trying to get a hold of this situation so it does not escalate if it is true.

This person who left the message Friday stated the same thing as before, "please call me, my name was then said, if you do not I can only wish you good luck. Please contact me ASAP or your attorney, thank you and good luck".

It is really scarey and I do not like this feeling that I have in my stomach.

Good Grief, is this guy still an issue. I have never heard of anyone being arrested by a ILLEGAL PDL company in history ever. I have actually reserched it! The most I have heard happening is them reporting you to telecheck or chexsystems, or cbc ILLEGALLY! :evil: Even after they do that, it can still be disputed and removed. Just to let you all know this guy still calls either Jack Wilson, John Wilson and now Michael or Mike something (cannot understand the name). They call from international cell phones and some are private numbers (that is all the caller ID shows). They say the same thing every time...My name please contact me or have your lawyer/representative contact me regarding this very time senstivie matter. If you continue to ignore me it will only intensify the matter. Please call me at *** *** ****, it is not a toll free number and I don't have the number here at work. paulmergel, I didn't talk to them, they keep calling during the day when I am not there. I have a private blocker number on my phone which means they have to identify themselves before they can leave a message, they always hang up and then call from some international phone number or a 640 area code number that I cannot remember. It looks like a weird set of numbers, not normal.

I just don't want anyone else to hear these messages, ie., my mom or boyfriend or kids since it is not right I want them to stop calling. I was just wondering if anyone had ever spoken with these guys and what PDL's do they deal with?

It is a Nashville number. I did reverse phone look-up and it was unlisted as far as the company name but it said that it was located in Nashville, TN.

Last week I got a message from a person at this phone number with an India accent. I had a similiar experience with someone like this back in Sept. My father who is an attorney got on the phone with the guy and asked him if he had any proof to what he was claiming and if so he should fax it to him. The guy with the accent had nothing so my father told him to stop calling me.
Well as I mentioned last week I recieved a phone call from the above number from someone with a india accent. I called back and my first clue that this had to be a scam of some sort is when u call the number no one answers right away but you hear "deck the halls" Christmas music? very bizarre. Anyway, my father got on the phone and asked why they were calling and asked them if they had any documentation. The guy was like oh yes we emailed her...(I recieved not ONE email.) he then asked for proof and and told them they needed to fax it to him. Theguy with the accent started yelling at him and hung up. My father called back again and said very nicely that he had a judge on the line and that he should not contact me again. if he does he will be reported to the attorney generals office. That guy with the accent said they would not call again.

I really hate this foreign guy, still know that he calls, Private on the caller ID and the weird telephone numbers but no messages this week.

May be he is getting the hint, highly unlikely but I can hope for the best!!

rule number one, if they threaten arrest, and/or any other criminal legal action, they are not legit and should be ignored. Rule number two, if they threaten civil action on the phone and provide no notice in writing then 1) attempt to send a validation letter 2)determine if they are a CA/or the original lender. number three if they are a CA and have never send anything in writing and won;t provide anything in writing don't worry if they sue they will loose

rule number four buy a notebook and keep a log of every call, every letter every action they and you take, dates times names and info about what took place are important write it down.

Rule number Five, relax take a deep breath and all will be fine

OK new call same foreign guy tries to hide his accent, Mr or Seargant or Officer Jackson who needs me to call him urgently re: personal business matter at 949-544-4143 I think that is the number. My caller ID shows 949-544-0106 INPHONEX. Not sure who this is or what they are calling about, any ideas from anyone? Anyone else being harassed by this guy chaning his name and number and continuously stating to call or my attorney or he can only wish me "good luck".

I would think that if it was a valid debt they would have a toll free number to call not these long distance numbers with threats of you call or have your attorney call or they will only wish you "good luck". Whatever. It is just aggrevating and I don't want my parents or boyfriend to hear the calls b/c they will make me call and it will just be harassment.

It is a scam....The person that called me said they were from US National Bank and I was going to be downloaded. After researching the number on google and 800 notes I found that out. I told them that they were being reported to local, state and federal authorities and they hung up. I also told them that I new they were scammers and were being reported on the web.

Is getting downloaded painful? LOL I wonder exactly how they do it. Do these guys realize how stupid they sound when they make these threats? I am so glad I found this site because all of you have such wonderful information and experience.
