I need to get the address of T-Mobile, not sure what state. Someone set up an account under my name and left a balance of $462. I have called and email Experian and sent a letter to Superior Asset Management. I only have Superior Asset Management's address on my Credit Report. I've tried to call either busy or hangs up on me or they are closed. Can anyone help?

WElcome to the forums Scully,
Unfortunatly Superior Asset Management is still in "bidness". See my post under dealing with collection agencies. Superior Asset moves around alot in order to skirt the laws. AS I have time to digest more information I will post it. I have a newer address (this week any way ) for them I will post it tomorrow.

scully

You will need to ask for validation of proof that you owe this bill. If they have your information and you did not authorize this, you will need to file a police report and then this may be easier to get it removed from your credit report. You'll also have to contact each of the credit bureaus.

The address for T-Mobile is

Customer Relations
T-Mobile Customer Relations
PO Box 37380
Albuquerque, NM 87176-7380

And customer service phone number is:

1-800-937-8997.

Regards-
Mike

Thanks Mike! Yeah I have contacted Experian and they said they investigated it and I guess T-Mobile is saying its mine. I've never signed up with T-Mobile. I am going to use the letter that I found in the Samaritan Club. Its really good and straight to the point and no messing around. I am tired of this.
Thanks again Mike!

The number ben provided, 800-895-2989 is the number they are calling from and they number they gave me to call them back on. Unfortuantly it is also the number which many have said goes un answered is is answered and placed in a ques for extended periods.

The FOIA infomration I have posted on previously so far lists at least 10 different numbers and 6 addresses for SAM .

I called T-Mobile and they gave me this # to contact SAM (800-895-2989). I did talk with a guy named Mike Russo. He gave their address to send a dispute letter:

PO Box 4339
Ft. Walton Beach, FL
32549

After he gave me the info he just hung up on me. Crazy!

Re: Acct # 000-000-000-000

To Whom It May Concern:

This letter is regarding account # 000-000-000-000, which you claim I owe. This is not a refusal to pay, but a notice that your claim is disputed.

I am requesting validation, made pursuant to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Please note that I am requesting "validation"; that is competent evidence bearing my signature, showing that I have some contractual obligation to pay you.

Please also be aware that any negative mark found on my credit reports from your company or any company that you represent for a debt that I don't owe is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act; therefore if you cannot validate the debt, you must request that all credit reporting agencies delete the entry.

Pending the outcome of my investigation of any evidence that you submit, you are instructed to take no action that could be detrimental to any of my credit reports.

If you no longer own this debt, remove the derogatory marks from my credit report per the FCRA. Failure to respond within 30 days of receipt of this certified letter will result in legal action against your company. I will be seeking a minimum of $5,000 in damages for:
1. Defamation
2. Negligent Enablement of Identity Fraud
3. Violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act

For the purposes of 15 USC 1692 et seq., this Notice has the same effect as a dispute to the validity of the alleged debt and a dispute to the validity of your claims. This Notice is an attempt to correct your records, and any information received from you will be collected as evidence should any further action be necessary. This is a request for information only, and is not a statement, election, or waiver of status.

Best regards,

(insert your name)

It is your legal right to dispute any item on your credit report, for any reason. If documented proof that discredits your dispute isn't provided within 30 days, it MUST be removed by law. This is why it is so important to send the dispute form via certified mail. Not only to insure its delivery, but to have documented time of when it was sent.

I wanted to send a letter to the Credit Bureaus; Experian, TransUnion and Equifax. I already sent T-Mobile and SAM a letter similiar to your letter.

Hi Scully,

How are you? Hope you are having a nice day ahead.

Credit bureaus are also required to investigate the accounts if it is disputed. They are required to present your credit file depicting the true credit history as per the FCRA laws,

They will conduct an investigation and give you the result within 30 days. You can also expect that if the verification is not provided within 30 days, the mentioned entries need to be permanently deleted from your file.

Do let us know the result of your move made.

Regards
Roxette

I have received multiple voicemail messages at my home phone number, being left for someone whose name I can't decipher from a rep of this company. I attempted to call 800 895 2989 to let this person know that she's on the wrong track, but gave up after 20 minutes on hold.Any idea how I can get the calls to stop without having to answer questions about who I am, how long I've had this number, etc?
