Ok guess who again, this time no one said who they were, same guy, spoke really nastily, stated that I should not disregard the message...call 954-727-8481....or my attorney of records, if not it will get worse and I will be regretfull at that time. It could go out of my hands. Contact them, stated the number again...Take care, goodbye, god save and then my name was repeated twice. Weird, right? It is annoying....

Ah...I thought I had read about the good ol "good luck" message somewhere.

I received a message from a "Steve Anderson" that I or my attorney should contact him immediately and that if we didn't, all he could do is wish me good luck. The last sentence after that was gibberish. He didn't even tell me who he was from, or what he was calling me about. It was good for a laugh.

My dad was wondering who the clown was leaving me the threatening message on the phone. I laughed when I heard the "good luck" part, remembering this thread. I felt kind of left out that I won't be "downloaded" though.

My wacky friend Mr. Steve Anderson did call back a few days later though.

Who knew there were so many Hindus with English names overseas. Not I sir.

They are the same sort of scam as US bank...

Same message as all of you are getting from some foreign guy, he had not called in a while but is starting again leaving a different # from before but same guy, I think Mr. Watson? Call him time sensitive matter, urgent or I can only be wished good luck. I should not worry, right? I don't believe I have any outstanding payday loans out there...I sent for verification of one that I wanted to pay off that I believe was the last one and never received any phone calls back...I get this message and also a Pat Barnes...who is that?

This guy called again, nothing but "wish you good luck as the issue unfolds onto me since I have not responded". The phone number was "private" as I have unrecognized numbers blocked on my phone...still worried about this one...anyone know what it is about?

Got you, paulmergel, but it would bother anyone to have these people constantly calling you....they just left another message...now a Pat from Superior is calling so not sure if it is for the same thing or not...the fun never stops and from what I know I have nothing outstanding. Nothing has come in the mail.

i know it does,but just remember that they are totally illegal.that is why i said long ago.once you realize it is a scam do not take there calls.a lot of people have them calling because they kept returning there calls.in fact i got a call on my internet machine from GFSIL it read OUT OF AREA on the screen.same thing please call and good luck.that was 1 week ago today.since then nothing.if you even give them any kind of reason to call they will.just keep doing what your doing.the calls will subside again.i do wish our government would look into a way to stop this.

Just wanted to let everyone know that this guy is back again. Totally unable to understand his message at all, says his phone number really fast and the caller ID says private so not traceable...wishes me good luck if me or my attorney does not respond the issue will move forward and he won't be able to assist me in any way...the next phase will be one that I will not want to have to deal with...and on and on.

OK today urgent time sensitve matter. I should call Michael (could not understand his last name) immediately upon receipt of this message because he will not leave what the matter is in reference to on an answering machine....703-574-5307. If I do not return this call or my attorney then he will have no choice but to pursue this legal matter without my cooperation. Good luck....I hate this guy...any additional information is appreciated. I wish he would go away...

I got a call from a guy claiming to be from Financial Crimes Division he said his name was officer Sam Nelson. He told me I have commited three crimes. I could not understand what he was saying. If you get a call from him again, hang up because this is a scam! File a police report with the number and address he gave you and report harassment on him!

OMG I got the same call from a 013n number and it really freaked me out

I have recieved calls from this 321-445-4136 and 321-445-4135, claiming that they were Officer somename, can never understand, from the Financial Crimes Division. He stated that my SSN and address was on hold with the Gov and they would take further legal action if I did not return their call. When they call, the number is always blocked, but they leave a call back number. I have already made a report with the FTC, and will add this number to the report as well. If you are contacted by these people, I would say contact the FTC and file a report, they will compile evidence against them and hopefully catch these people. From some of the research I did, they have already scammed many people and have stolen MILLIONS of $. Do NOT give them your personal information!

Omg i have started recieving the same calls from a guy with a foriegn accent name kevin watson saying that i owe a payday loan he is harrassing me all day saying he is going to have sum one to pick me up and take me to jail for 14mths he is really starting to get on my nerves!!

Let me give a little insight here. I have been dealing with these clowns since I filled out an app on QLoot. They are out of India and use Google Talk or Google Voice I'm not sure which it's a VOIP like Vonage and change their phone numbers all the time. I have even gotten numbers as of lately that aren't even phone numbers. They get your info from IPDL apps. I have recorded a couple of calls from them on my phone. I have fun with them since I have worked in fraud. Law enforcement, AG, etc won't deal with them, trust me I've called. When I am having a bad day I wait for Susie, Bob, Steve, or whatever their American name of choice is that day to call me and then I let out my frustrations on them. I look forward to their daily calls. It's cheaper than therapy. They tell me they work in a back office of a law firm but won't give you any further details than that. So anyone getting these calls don't lose any sleep but I would recommend changing bank accounts. They too have read my info and told me what bank I bank with. I have found if you really let them have it their feelings get hurt and they stop calling. I like to role play with them. I crank up my local scanner from www.radioreference.com and play the role of Joe Friday or whomever I feel like being. I figure if Habib is going to be Bob today I can be who I want to be today.
