Smith Haynes Watts? What did you get when you googled them? I'm only coming up with accountants and such, nothing that connects them with payday loans . . .

They are not related to Cash Net USA, although they may be collecting for them. But they are not the same company.

They do collections for pdl's and other creditors.

Are you referring to Smith Haynes & Watson? The collection agents for Geneva Roth? They collect for payday loans.

Yeah, I see that - I was originally searching for Smith Haynes Watt - Not Smith Haynes Watson, so nothing was coming up for me at the start.

Does anyone know how to contact these people?? I only applied for a pdl and never received it because I chose not to but these people are debitting my account as if I received a pdl.....I need to have them to stop but can't seem to locate any info on them

Have you contaced Cashnet USA and asked if your account was sold to a collection agency. I would make sure those debits for $145 was debited and applied for Cashnet USA. Geneva Roth has a nasty habbit of getting into folks account and taking money for no reason :?

The laws posted above pertain to the storefronts located in Florida and not to internet lenders. They fall under the Florida Consumer Financial Act which makes them totlaly illegal in Florida unless licensed. Cash Net is licensed here the others are not. These loans are not legally collectable. I have retained an attorney here in Florida whose has successfully sued two collection agencies for fdcpa violations and made all the others drop off the planet. He charges nothing out of pocket, only if he wins a suit. If you would like his info please PM me.

Contact your bank and put a stop payment on the debits you are not sure of

They are legal. You can contact them and they will work out an arrangement as far as getting the loan paid in full. They typically will only let you do this though over 4 payments bi-weekly.

Check n go sounds like it would be store front and they are usually very helpful if you go in and talk to them face to face to try and work something out.
