Can anybody find Sifxpert?

This has been my point all along about this guy. I have read pleas on his discussion board from his clients as well as this forum from clients BEGGING him to please contact them. What is wrong with that picture? No client anywhere should EVER have to beg a person they have hired to get in touch with them. How he has no complaints with the BBB is beyond me. I actually filed one but for some reason, I don't think it actually made it to the complaint file. I have decided to stick with my company. I was never happy with their fees but we have settled two accounts and when I do have a concern, question, etc., they respond within several hours, NOT days, weeks, or months. This guy is quick to bash other companies but won't take responsibility for his HORRENDOUS customer service...the worst I have ever experienced. Good luck with your settlements. I hope he eventually does right by you. If not, cancel with him and sign up with a company that cares.

UPDATE:

Well...James Lombardo's voice-mail is now full! Since I was unsuccessfull in attempting to reach him by e-mail, I now have no way of contacting him after a month of trying.

I would simply like to know if he has given up on my BofA accounts so that I can pursue a plan B (I don't know what that is yet).

It seems as if others were successfull in getting on contact with him, I can't even get a simple, yes or no answer out of him.

Sounds to me like you make want to email him a respectful email explaining that if he doesn`t have the courtesy to respond to you than you will be forced to file a complaint with the BBB. That concerns me that he won`t respond by phone or email in over a month. This is not a way to run a business.

UPDATE:

Still no contact in over a month (five weeks), and I've been trying everyday.

I guess I'm open to suggestions, as I'm guessing James Lombardo (SifXpert) has given up on my accounts. I don't know what to do as a Plan B, any suggestions? I have two BofA accounts now being handled by a CA (Creditors Interchange). I have filed a cease & desist with them. One of the two accounts has charged off. James claimed he was able to get both acounts recalled back to BofA, one of which he claimed to have settle. In calling BofA, neither claim by James seems to be true. I have some money to be able to settle both accounts but not at the 70% that Creditors Interchange has offered.

I open to any and all suggestions on how to handle my situation with James Lombardo and my BofA acounts. I hate to proceed with attempting to do something on my own and potentially make things harder for James Lombardo should he still be working on things for me. I'm DESPERATE for help.

Honestly ,I would cancel with him and go with another settlement company. Also I would file a complaint with the BBB. There are plenty of other good settlement company's like New Beginnings debt settlement LLC " which also has a 55% settlement money back guarantee like Sifxpert and has a good track record with the BBB", or Century Negotiations " Member of the BBB with and good track record" or Superior debt relief " also a member of the BBB with a good track record". These are just a few company's that will actually get back with you when you have a concern. 5 weeks and no response !!!There is no excuse for that kind of customer service. :(

UPDATE:

I'm VERY HAPPY to report that I heard from and had a lengthy discussion with sifxpert today. He explained his reasons for the recent lack of communication and while I feel it would be improper for me to discuss someone elses personal life on a public forum, I will say that I now completely understand his circumstances and can completely excuse his recent absence. Trust me when I say that anyone reading this would have acted similar to James under the same circumstances he has been under.

For anyone else who was waiting for a response from James, you can rest easy, if he hasn't contacted you already he will be in the very very soon.

To make a long story short, everything is proceeding exactly as he promised it would, and exactly as he explained in his last correspondance from five weeks ago, two BofA accounts settled at 20%. I now know that everyone else was right about sifxpert, you CAN beleive what he says, he is an honest guy who stands behind his word.

While my business isn't completely finished with sifxpert, we are 90% there and everything has been agreed to be all parties involved, its a simple matter of executing which I don't foresee any issues. I couldn't be happier with sifxpert's services and would highly recommend him to anyone who simply wants GREAT results and doesn't require their hand to be holded through the entire process.

I will post a final update when everything is finalized.

That is great that he finally came through for you and I am sure he had some major crisis. The problem still remains...how many weeks did he put you through hell before he gave you an explanation for his abscence? Whether it was a good reason or not, the guy needs to let go of a buck and hire more staff so he can adequately take care of the customers he has or his potential customers. I have been in contact with another ds company that is mentioned on this forum quite a bit and think I may go that direction. As I have said before, I liked what Lombardo had to say until he stopped communicating over a month ago. I had the agreement papers signed and ready to go but had a few questions which were never addressed. To this day, I have never heard from the guy so although he may get decent settlements, it is not worth my nerves being shot over the length of time it takes him to acknowledge correspondance from someone. He may very well have had a good reason THIS TIME but this has been a constant complaint about him. Good luck with the rest of your settlements...maybe he reads this forum and will get on the ball. The least he could do is hire a receptionist to field calls. I am sure he is making enough money to do so.

I've been trying to get in touch with him for a couple of months. I hired him back in November and he has settled one of my accounts for 20% of what I owed but my other 2 accounts have been charged off and I'm not sure what to do at this point. He used to respond to emails rather quickly so not sure what happened.

James Lombardo does not sound like a very reliable person, why would anyone risk getting sued for having sympathy for this guy? Find yourself someone that will at least answer your emails and telephone calls!

Anyone heard from him lately? I have been trying for over 2 months and he has taken all of the money out of my account (almost $20,000) with almost all of the checks written to himself and no explanation where some of the money has gone. I instructed him not to take anymore out without notifying me first and he overdrew the account by almost $5000 with no explanation of what or who it was for.......only that the check was made out to himself.

I have been trying to get a hold of him since April 4th. Lets see.......April, May, June and now July. Absolutely no contact whatsoever. Didn't you know he prides himself in customer service.

It doesn't seem to get any better..... this guy is screwing with a lot of peoples lives and doesn't have the decency to even post a message on his own forum. All we know for sure is that he is still alive because he talked to someone.

Would appreciate anyone having contact with him to let everyone know that he is still alive and that he has enough money to to hire a temp. at the local employment agency to post a note for us folks that signed over our soul to him wishing us all of the luck in the world.

Last time I talked to him was about 2 weeks ago. I am not sure what he is up to since then and some of my accounts are getting screwed up mean time. I would not signed up with him if I knew about this.

Have any of you guys considered filing a complaint with the BBB? If you guys are not happy with him than file and complaint and get your money back so you can apply that money to hire a reputable company that doesn't take weeks or even months to return your calls.

On his own website forum, tons of people posted stories of him taking money for not settled accounts. If he is not misleading people then he is a plain thief or conman!! Do not sign up with him.

He said that he will settle all of accounts before charge offs. I found today he left my accounts go charge off without doing anything. I had enough money to settle the accounts since few months ago. My judgment, he waits till banks offer any settlements then take easy money from innocent victims like me and you. I found you can do the same if you wait till just before charge offs. Mean time he screws any account need to do actual negotiations by not doing anything at all. People, do not sign up with him. I am ready to file fraud claims on him for money he took out of my accounts for works he did not do.

Has ANYONE heard from him lately? We had accounts that he had the money to settle and he even forwarded us the settlement letters. Now, we are getting calls about those very accounts. The payments were not made according to the schedule set forth in the letters and I don't know what to think. Is this normal? I don't know whether to keep waiting or hire an attorney. I am so ready to have this all behind me and it all seemed to be going very well. Til now.

I was taken for almost $4000 from James L. I requested he return it but he did not. I tried to file a complaint with the Los Angeles BBB and this is what they replied to me:

We are in receipt of the complaint you had filed against the above mentioned company. Unfortunately we are unable to process the complaint. Our complaint process is a form of mediation. The resolution/desired settlement you requested does not offer anything for us to mediate on your behalf.

In addition, the BBB is a non profit organization. We are not a Government Agency; therefore we have no regulatory power over the company. We can not dictate policy, procedure or conduct investigations.

Because due in part to his actions, I had to file bankruptcy to protect myself.

Just started calling some of the accounts he said he had paid and it's not looking good. He drafted checks from my account for his fees and for the CC company and apparently never sent the checks to the CC companies. I am screwed.....plus they are going to charge off.

Think it's time all of his clients found someone else to take care of their problems.

I feel horrible for anybody who has been scammed by this crook. Can you not file suit on him since you have a contract with him? After all these posts about him I still notice that people are asking if they should use him...ARE YOU KIDDING??? He also uses the alias of Debtxpert and his name is James Lombardo. STAY AWAY!!!

I am sure there is some legal recourse but if you can't get ahold of the man, what do you do? I would love some advice! I don't know what to do.

We have to start somewhere and he closed the site down very quickly after seeing that we were on to him. We only have about a dozen names. Most don't even know they have been ripped off. Most just assume that there bills were paid throughout the last 3 or 4 months. They weren't. Write us please

I spoke with the Irvine, CA police dept... they said to file a criminal complaint, you need to do it in your town, it is then transferred to the Irvine dept. She said to speed things up, though, contact someone with Regulatory Affairs. I left a voice message, and also an e-mail... I would encourage EVERYONE to innundate her e-mail NOW with your details! email removed per forum rules

I just emailed her and will let you know whatever I am told. I don't know where to go from here. I hope she can shed some light on what to do. Thanks so much for the info! I will keep everyone updated as I assume everyone is as anxious as I to have some resolution or information.

I pray that James Lombardo or sifxpert or whatever he is calling himself these days isn`t really scamming people but if what everyone is saying is true you guys need to file complaints with the BBB , ripoffreport.com , FTC , Your state attorney general and California state attorney general asap. I have those links as my signature so you can get to them quickly. Please keep us informed.

Thank goodness I did not go with him. I had sent him all my information and he never responsed.. What a blessing.. This is just awful what he's doing to everyone... Just awful!

I feel like im hearing from sifxpert under a guest post, hmmmmmm, rapid response, something sounds fishy. Hes responded to you and you have updates so fast, what about everyone else ? and to answer why money was taken and so on. I just cant believe this, if hes emailed you, then what about the others.

Still got some skeptics? Through my limited contacts, I have chatted with about 15 clients that have lost up to $100,000 but I fear this will only be the tip of the iceburg when all the dust settles with this jerk. I will know more soon and post some numbers. James Lombardo is a thief pure and simple and will eventually be prosecuted. Pleease PM with your email if you would like more information. I am sure this board is getting tired hearing about James Lombardo. If the guest that posted information regarding contacting producers at 20/20 will contact please, maybe soon, the whole civilized world will know about James Lombardo.

Trust me, the only people he is contacting are those that are desperate to have their accounts resolved and have money. They are the poor souls that are begging for him to take their money. Anyone can sign in on this forum as a guest just like I am doing right now so who knows when he might pop in.
When his forum closed, I knew plan B was my number 1 priority and as it turned out, he had allowed all of my accounts to go to collections after 3 months of no responses from him. Take care of your accounts ASAP by yourself but before you do any negotiating with the collection agencies, make sure you do some homework and make sure you get your agreements in writing with the best possible terms. You don't want them coming after you again a year down the road.

Looking back now, I am glad i kept control of my funds. He tried to take a fairly large lump sum 5-6 weeks ago. My bank called me to tell me that a transaction was declined. I asked who was processing the transaction and they COULD NOT track down the person. I recalled Sif emailing me with a settlement figure, but since communicating with him is on his terms, he never responded to me. I emailed Sif and low and behold he says it was an error by Ericka (Assistant) as he was out of the country for several weeks. He then adds that the amount is slightly higher and that he would let me know. I told him to split the debit into payments which seemed to catch him by supriise. Had the funds been there, bye bye
I always made sure funds were debited only by creditors.
We had paid off several accounts and he had not asked for nor received much of his fee's.
The problem now is dealing with remaining accounts that have now been charged off and sold to ?
According to my CR he had established his address as my most recent...so now i have to do some detective work.
I hope this is just a big misunderstanding....but hope is not a strategy

Hello................ When he closed his forum down, any misunderstandings went out the window. He took our money out of our accounts, made himself the payee and endorsed them with his signature and when we asked why, he never got back to us and in the mean time, put all of our accounts into collections and charge off. Yep, some people are still in denial. He closed the forum because some people could see the writing on the wall and were asking too many questions between clients. The last thing he wanted was all of his clients banding together to launch a counter offensive. If he could read the forum, don't you think maybe he knew that just a few people were trying to get in touch with him.
