I am AWFUL at writing letters, Can anyoneoffer some ideas of what I have so far and what I should change or add, personally I think it sounds dumb:

To Whom It May Concern:

I have 2 loans with your company. One loan at Checksmart and the other with Express Payroll advance. Both for $$$. I unfortunately have fallen on a financial hardship. At this time I am unable to pay my full loans off. By the time you receive this correspondence, my payments will have been returned as NSF. I do apologize for this, I have been a long time customer, however the situation is out of my control. I have every intention on paying you in full as soon as possible. I will be sending you payments every two weeks with the first payment mailing out on June 6th. I’m not exactly sure how much I can send that will depend on my situation, however you can be assured I will send the maximum amount I can afford.

I realize you will not be happy or satisfied with my actions, but again, at this time I have no other choice. When you call me, as I know you will I will tell you the same thing. I’m sorry that I got these loans, and will never take them out again. I will send one payment, you can divide it up between the two loans.

Sincerely,
Sad I ever took a loan, customer:)

Imale, that looks like a well written letter, but I am with Kash on this one. As hard as it is to go in person it really is best in the long run, ask to speak with the manager, explain your situation. However, if that isn't an option and you would rather not, the letter is the second best thing. Some contact is better than none. Be prepared to be bombarded with calls though, but hopefully you won't and this will work out in your favor. :)

I've called both places, they offered the EPP, however I can't make payments that high at this time at once. I honestly think I can have them paid off by the end of June, but I don't want to promise that and then for any reason not be able to deliver. These 2 store are UGLY, they have a rep of being the worst around here. I think the ohio house voted on the PDL bill again yesterday, even though it will not go into effect for 90 days after the governor signs it, I'm hoping that will cause the PDL places to "tame" down their collections practices a bit...
