I sent a debt valadation letter to United Legal Corp.

My question is, what do I need to do? I want to get these taken care of, but have heard bad things about this company.

As your debt has not been legally validated in complete sense, you can sue the CA in a Federal court for $250. Take the assistance of your state's secretary office and see if the agency is licensed to collect debt in your state.

My wife has several accounts in her name only J.C.P. sears, ect . Am I responsible for her debts? She has lost her job because of health reasons and not able to work. I have not signed anything on these. I am going to get a settlement in about 12 to 18 months and I was going to pay these off. I am on disibility. Can they garnish my check or freeze my account and do I need to take her off my checking accs.?
