Members Guest Posting

This has been going on for at least the last three days on this particular subject but I have noticed that this person is always making guest posts in the pub.
It is not hard to tell who it is from their posting style and the comments are very rude and inappropriate, and obviously just trying to start problems that are not needed.

I am not sure to watch out for,I must have missed it but will do it! If someone is posting like that, it ,needs to stop. They are just trying to stir things up and start trouble. Have you PMd the admin about them?

They are posting mean and nasty comments to the "Frog's Farewell" thread . . . .

I have noticed them and have been deleting them as I see them. I usually check pending guest posts and posts since last visit when I log on in the early am and deleted two this morning...guess they came back for more. I have noticed it since I came back from the weekend.

Oh, I see - I didn't see any of them, but I will certainly watch out for them, Goudah, and take the necessary action.

No one has any right to bash anyone else here, and it won't be tolerated. If it happens to be a Mod doing this, I hope you're reading this and will MOD-ify your actions.

I know who it is....it is not a mod......but it has been going on for a LONG time. I just keep deleting. They are intentionally doing this to start problems. There are a few that have gotten approved and made it through..........they usually show up first thing in the morning.

Thanks for the heads up, Goudah and Sass - I will keep an eye out. I'm usually on prior to 8:00 a.m. for a bit.

It is under "A Frog's Farewell." This member is only trying to start trouble.

The funny part is - I know this member that is doing the guest posting got incredibly mad at someone else here because they had posted that they were leaving and the member didn't post that they should stay.

And not to let the cat out of the bag here, but this kind of behavior from this member is exactly why Mike changed his mind about her becoming a MOD . . .

She PMd me and told me that she was sad I was leaving and turns around a tries to stab me in the back. I was one of the people who tried hard to get her and Volley (another not so genuine person) to come back. What did I do to her? I wish the post was left there because I do not want my remarks taken that way and would have liked to respond. Many people asked me to stay or supported my decision to leave which was based mainly on time constraints. Those who remained silent are not my enemies. I do not feed off ego boosts nor am I harmed by the lack of them.

Here is yet another one...she won't stop....

I dont know why you keep deleting my posts . I am not attacking nor am I breaking any rules. I am asking a simole question. I was wondering if you believe that because over 100,000 members did not post and ask you to stay , if you believe they are your enemies. I know you are a mod and can delete obviously what you dont like. Please all i want is an answer. I have been lurking around these boards trying hard to use the info, but so often the drama gets in the way.

Yeah, that's right, they got extremely pissed because someone that she expected to beg her to stay didn't, and I think won't speak to that person to this day........

Frog - I can tell you that she did read your last post. If you want her reply, let me know and I'll email it to you . . . But I couldn't just let that stuff keep going. It was obvious it was not going to stop anytime soon.

This is SO ridiculous. Now I think we can all see why this person did not become a Mod. This is what I would call "conduct unbecoming of a Mod"!!

I'm so sorry to see this happening. Members can agree to disagree on so many things, but some just can't let it go...and keep on beating the dead horse, so to speak.

Oh my gosh, seriously, this is getting out of hand!!!! Now everyone can see why this person never became a mod. This is not even the worst stuff she has posted as a guest. You should have seen her guest posts when she was fighting with JCEMT and Unemployed Ron.

Why doesn't someone just call her out on it. Seriously. Instead of all the angst get it done and over with. People rarely truly like to be called out on their actions when they are being an ass but it usualy stops the behavior for a while when it's done.

Goudah did try to call her out on it, and she won't stop!!

Yeah, Goudah has tried to tell her but she doesn't quit.....just like she makes guest post after guest post, and doesn't get the hint when she sees they are getting deleted!

I think if one of us confronts her, it is only going to piss her off more and she will just continue. Admin should step in since we really have no way to prove it,even though we know it is her, and I am sure that they can easily figure out who it is and have solid evidence. She has pmed me before and told me she was going to make guest posts before, back when she was fighting with JCEMT and Unemployed Ron. If any one of us confronts her, she will once again become a victim and bombard Vikas and Jason with pms complaining about people treating her bad.

Admin can verify ip address and nail her good if we can get someone in admin involved. :roll:

You know, though..There really isn't any reason for FYI not to do it. At least then there is a chance of her stopping it..And if she doesn't like it, what's the worst she can do? Leave the board? I think she's very valuable because of her knowledge, but we just can't have this. Because she twisted things in a pm to me an ugly situation nearly came between Goudah and I. I don't get it..Is she bored? Is she trying to cause conflict between members?

So I don't know..Maybe FYI should try. What do we do? Do we vote on it?

Yeah that is what I was thinking, too. It was constant all day today and has been for the last three days. I wish I had saved the ones I deleted earlier in the week.

I think she'll cause more trouble if it's admin than if it's a mod..

Honestly, I think that she is a very unhappy person. I know from having some conversations with her that she hates many, many people on this board and has said some really nasty stuff about good people. That is why I don't associate with her anymore. I don't like people talking about my friends and treating people like crap. Not that that matters in this situation, I'm just saying she is a very bitter person.

I know. I don't know what side of her fence I am on..I remember when she first came here she started pming me at random. Call me paranoid, but from the way her pms sounded for awhile I honestly thought she was Steelers, back to cause some trouble..I was and am very very careful what I say to her. In fact, until I saw her pic in the HOF I wasn't sure she wasn't Steelers.

OMG! That's what I thought, too!! She sort of has the same posting style as Steelers! But, nope, not her. When she invited me to come visit her after I had only known her for like a week, that's when I knew she was odd...

Just give me the say so. I won't do anyhting unless I have it. I was there to calm the waters when there was one fight with her and a couple of others. Maybe I can be effective but I don't know about being nice.
