I get numerous phone calls from LTD Financial Services.

I get a phone number on my caller id that is 800-741-2100. They hardly ever leave a message just call numerous times during the day. When they do, it is some automated voice that you can't understand. Has anyone had any dealings with them? I am going to send them a validation letter to find out what I owe. I have tried to call them but I am told to leave a message since I don't know the extension number. I have also seen that they are horrible to deal with. Any info would be appreciated.

Be careful before you arrange any payment plan with LTD Financial. Ask them to validate the debt so that you get a true picture of it.
As per the fdcpa law, the person calling you has to identify himself and tell you the purpose of the call. Before the debt gets validated, do not send any personal information to them otherwise, there will be chances of misuse.
If the debt does not get validated, you can take actions against this company and remove any negative information put by them in your credit file. You will have to take the help of your attorney for it and file a case under section 809 ( 8 )
