when the time comes for more debt sams/mods

I don't think any of us want to be in a admin position.Although I would love them credentials for a couple days to take out the trash. I think we should get unclewuf opinion on it before we go too far with the idea.

I think they should do a "dirty jobs" episode on debtcc's admins..What a stressful occupation!

I have contacted admin about a final decision on this.
Fins,I think he has thicker skin & I dare say a even rougher disposition then me if trifled with. I think he would be a good fit and the rest of the boo hoo's can go cry in the corner.Seriously this job is not a promotion in the least and the benne's suck sometimes. Most of us earned it like everyone else did helping people and keeping the board running.

So, Unclewulf is our new moderator. I think no one else could fill this position better than him at this juncture. I agree with Cajun, he has all the character of a tough guy , which is a must quality for a mod.

I thank you all for this wonderful choice. And, yeah, I too think that its the best way to handle these issues.

I actually think this informal process is a boatload better than the old announcements that almost always lead to drama.Vikas has posted here that he wants us to decide on future mods and have a group approval. Just my proverbial two cents though.

For the people who missed this. This is also how most moderators are picked on the eight other consumer boards I visit. They are picked,discussed,invited,and approved in secret.The board finds out when they show up.

They'll figure it out very quickly. Your name is in blue when you see who's on, and it will say moderator under your name..No way to avoid the drama no matter what we do. Oh well, they could've been mods if they'd shaped up..
