:( I have a loan with quick payday loans over the internet right now, which I've had for about a year now and I can't pay it off. I've recently paid off a couple of payday loans I've had with other places and I'm down to this one and one with pay day ok. I read on another thread that quick payday will work with you but I was hoping somebody that has dealt with them can give me some tips. I'm looking at having to stop payment on them and I need to know what happens next? Will they call my work or my home or what they will do. Please help me out and thanks for your time

I have never delt with them myself before but a suggestion might be to send them a certified return receipt letter stating you do not want them to call your job regarding this debt. Legaly they should not call you at work after that. Now if you feel they will not work with you and not oblige your request simply tell them you are no longer employed and you would like work out a payment arrangement. Close your bank account and open a new one with new numbers. Good Luck

Hi DFG,

Welcome to the forums.

Like Elisia said, before you change your bank account numbers or put a stop payment on your debits, it's always better to arrange a pay down plan with your lenders. It is always advised not to extend the loans. If it is done, you will be paying the maximum amount of money towards the interests and the principal amount will remain unaltered.

The creditors will be willing to accept your payment plan as long as you are willing to pay it. Be sure that you have not stretched the loan to such an amount that it becomes difficult for you to pay in later period and in turn, causes defaults. You will enjoy most of the benefits as long as you are paying the agreed amount and they won't call you at home or work.

I just worked with them on my loan that is in default.
The girl I emailed was Emily E. She was really nice and let me split the amout due in 2 payments; one payment due this month and the next payment for the following month. Hope this helps you.

I had a payday loan w/Payday Ok. I never missed a payment, but was never able to get it paid down. Beacause of this, they worked with me to pay off the debt via a monthly payment. I will be making my last payment in December...and have been paying them $25/month since April or so. They are really great to work with so long as you are current and have been good about paying your fees each payday!
