hi fins I just.. read your post defending me( no longer member here..left from too many false attacks) and you knew I wasn't the awful person they were all bashing..thanks! for being here doing the right thing and posting to help weigh the scales with a good amount of common sense damn hope that double hyphens doesn't get me more false accusations here!

I know their site is pretty much dead in the water lately. Maybe they've finally decided to stop attacking us? (I doubt it.)

So this was probably a QM from a guest, right? So you can't contact them back and ask who they are.

Not to pat myself on the back, but that's exactly the reason I don't accept QMs from guests. The switch for that option, BTW, is in your profile.

I think it's one of the ones that left and have their own site, but not exactly who. Do they mean that you have defended them lately or a couple of years ago when they left? It's strange that all of a sudden they would write you, unless they are wanting to come back.

yes, the site is still there. pretty much dead lately though.

I keep hoping that they will let go of this year-long vendetta they have against our site. I simply can't imagine the type of personality that can justify holding a grudge against a group, or an individual, for that long.

To be honest, I saw the style of poptarts.mom in that QM - she has come back from time to time, pretending to still be a member here. But she followed them out the door when they left.

Oh wow..I did defend her in a post once, a really long time ago. Poptart and Dbaker. Remember her? Losing her was a shame.

You know who I miss? Lorri. She was really sweet and went out of her way to help others. But one idiotic guest came in and totally insulted her - and she disappeared and hasn't been back. And the guest disappeared too.

I remember that incident. I absolutely loved Lorri! That guest..He had a very vulgar name..Was absolutely disgusting.

Yes, it was. And once he got what he wanted, he disappeared. He chased off one of our valuable members and then just dropped off the face of the earth. Not that I really wanted him to stay!

I hope you can figure out who it was that QM'd you - it proves that they are still sending people over here to watch the site. I'm glad we have the Mod forum now to keep things private.

You know, I was going through old posts..There are quite a few people with hyphens. Remember identity-crisis04? What was her story? I always wondered if she and Beauty were the same person..

It's quite possible. Did Poptarts.mom ever use a hyphen? I still wonder if it's her. Her writing style is all over that QM. I could be wrong though.

No, not all those people that we mentioned went over there. But poptartsMom definitely did. It was pretty clear when she came back here a few times and posted that she had. She didn't stay long - and it was during the time that she came back here that we had problems with exact quotes from this site showing up on theirs.

This is just so ridiculous - that we have to sit here and try to guess who a member is, because they are so sneaky as to change their name (multiple times) to hide their true identity.

I seem to recall Cajun telling me that Hanky = Socksfullofrocks, based on an IP trace. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Wish I'd saved the PM now.

Yep Admin answered that request and proved it. Per the QM inquiries,limit it to members only to relieve unneeded stress. :D

Quick messages in your home page. It defaults to allowing guests to post there. When you are so well liked like me,it is imperative to turn off guest posts by clicking in the box there. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I just looked back through the Community Photo thread. 'Her' pic is missing from this page. I tossed the photobucket account, too. It ain't there.

OMG. I cannot stand Poptarts.mom. I got into it with her so many times. Not that it matters. But, I hope that she never comes back here. I had forgotten all about her.

And don't forget that Irish is still a member here, and a loyal member of their site. I see her signed on here all the time.

You're right Sass - I forgot about Irish. I remember when she came back the first time - I tried to warn a few people about her, because they didn't know who she was. They didn't realize she had gone to the other site.

I must be really unpopular, because I never had my homepage spammed. Never ever got a negative qm..That's odd, because along with Goudah and Polly, I am probably one of their least favorite people.

I don't think that was Irish..She and I were super close before she left, I loved that woman. I couldn't believe that she turned on me that way,that she couldn't see the truth. She just wrote me off, she never said anything bad about me, and I don't think she would.

Mine got spammed several times, alot by Socks, and then someone calling me a nazi :lol: guess I am really liked :lol:
