Dear Frshstart, Are you asking about debt settlement in case
Dear Frshstart,
Are you asking about debt settlement in case of payday loans offered by Payday One?
If that is so then let me tell you that debt settlement is not a viable answer to payday loans. The main reason is the incredibly high rate of interest attached to them.
A $100 payday loan needs to be paid within a 2 week time. If you miss the payment date then you will have to pay $25 (say) for that. But during debt settlement procedure you have to stop paying to the creditor and deposit money in a trust account. But deferment of each payment will lead to accumulation of rollover fees of another $25. This will accumulate rapidly and will surpass the original amount within a very short period of time.
That is why debt settlement program for payday loans is not the right option.

Phoenix
