Can JCEMT be the next mod in action

Though it was agreed previously that the existing mods will only decide about the next mod, but this time I would like to take the opportunity to propose the name of JCEMT as the next moderator. I had his name in my mind for a long time and I think it’s the right time to promote him to the next level.

He’s a worthy member of this community and has benefited this board with his knowledge. Hence I would request the other mods to consider his name for this position.

I've made the formal request to him (thanks for rolling the ball back to my court, cajun :wink:). He is a valuable member of the site and it would be unfortunate if we have to see him go, though I'm extremely glad that he has got a new job and want to give a all new start to his life. I wish him all the luck, but at the same time wish that he remains with us too.

Thank you all for helping me in making the decision. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he accepts the offer.

Thank you all for your kind words. I'll try to pick up my previous slack (I haven't been incredibly active recently) and make the most out of this opportunity. My tentative start date for my new job is 6/10/08, so after the 9th I don't know how much free time I'll have, however I will try to pop on for a little bit at least once a week, depending on how busy I am.
