Has anyone else dealt with Vincent P. Cignarelle? I had several problems with the company that turned me over to them. They called and harassed me at work. I finally got them to stop doing that but then they turned me over to these people. I also have had several hundreds of dollars added to my account for refinancing fee's. I tried to get the original creditor to give me a debt validation form and they hung up on me but before they hung up they told me all info was sold and they had nothing. V P Cignarelle said they dont have any payment history on the pay day loan. Please help!

can they do that? buy your info and then tell you they have no payment history? if they "bought" your account, should that include everything?

I have dealt with them and had a lawyer send them a demand letter. They were pretending to be a law firm when actually they are a collection agency cube farm renting a lawyers license. They settled out of court for his fees and the amount of the debt. If you want his name PM me. He may be able to help you! He asked me to find others having an issue with them. He is in Florida!

Mr. Cignarele "rents" out his name for a collection call center. They contacted me regarding an account from Payday Loan Yes. I told them that I very much disputed the debt, and they said they would send me verification of it. They sent me what appeared to me a copied form letter, with some pretty creative letterhead basically stating this is from such and such firm, and you owe this much. I told them that that is not going to do it, I want a complete audit on the account and I want to see the documentation of all payments made on the account-because I know what I paid. They asked me "so you dispute this debt?"..I said, absolutely...and then the man said the unbelieveable...."no one has ever done that before, we will have to refer this back to our client." I told him that unless I received the requested information by a specific date, I would consider this matter closed. I never received the information and that was over a year ago. I wouldn't loose any sleep over this, they are not real when it comes to collecting on PDL's, you have got to be tougher than they are-if they sense that you are waivering they will become ridiculous and abusive-you need to make sure you beat them to the punch.

Yes he does, just google his name and there is a truck load of information out there. Which after I read all that, I came back on whoever called me like a mack track into a brick wall. The lies they tell are ridiculous, and what is even more ridiculous, is for a little bit-they had me shaking in my shoes....never ever again.

I am not sure if they can sell it but they claimed to have done it. The company was e-payday loan. E-Payday loan called me seriously 28 times at work until finally they gave up it got to a point where we saw the number on caller id and didnt answer it. Several people my supervisor included talked to them and asked them to discontinue calling me at work or we would turn them over to the police. I did document times and dates of this event it went on for a few days. I emailed their supervisor and they actually responded I kept it because I was hoping to use them against them if needed.

Frogpatch,

Could you pass me the name of the lawyer in Florida? My acount was just one month from being pay off, and it gets purchased by Unistates credit, now, I have spoken with them and thet said that they will collect the last payment, but, so far they have not. It worries me that they can come back with all kinds of "issues" as to why they have to charge more money that the agree sum that I had with the previous company.

Thank you
