Try net zero, or snatch one of those CD's in the stores that offer the first month free. In fact, you may even be able to get a months free froma local service, just tell them you want to try it out. :D

DUH! I knew that, but good news, I am going to go with my cable company for internet only, they can come tomorrow and I don't have to pay until next month, this way I can go ahead and pay T & C and get this party started!!! Its been a good day!

If push comes absolutely to shove, remember that your local public library likely offers internet access for free. Maybe not the best solution, but it is a solution.

On the topic of tapping a neighbor's wifi... Don't do it without asking permission first. You could let yourself in for more trouble than it's worth.

Unauthorized access to a computer system / network can let you in for felony charges, depending on where you are, who reports it, and how. Just because it's unsecured doesn't mean it's free to the public.
