I couldn't access it, but still . . . . If Kash were to see that she would know that there was a thread going about the situation . . . . .

OMG!! Tha's NOT good! We need to PM Jason and have him fix this ASAP. I am wondering if anyone can see it though, or just the mods. Have you tried as a guest to see if you can see it?

I saw that topic also, I logged out and it was there, when I clicked on it, it took me to the page to log in.

So, like the Topic-Can JCEMT be the next mod-will show up ther, even if they can't access it? Or if we mention a particuliar person posting in our title?

Yes - If it is most viewed or most posted to.

The kash thread has like 17 pages, so it is number 1 on the most viewed and most popular. That's why it's showing there . . .

Several of our Mod threads have been on there and if you go to Goudah or any of the mod home pages ( when you click on their number of posts to find a post by them) any thread we have posted to in this fourm comes up. It can not be opened but the title is there.

Great . . . . That is even worse Roxy! I thought that was going to be fixed by Admin already . . . . It was brought up some time ago that the threads showed on our homepages.

I didn't mean yo- meant you in my previous post-darn arthritis :lol: I will PM him and see if this can be taken care of.

I was thinking about JCEMT , didn't want him to get hurt feelings if he could see his name in a post he couldn't access!!..

I could care less what she thinks & long as access is limited to us I am good.

Actually, when I click on the link to my posts, the titles from the MOD forum don't show up . . . So that part has been fixed.

But it does show on my homepage . . . . Just not when you click on the number of posts . . .

I am not at all worried about what she thinks, either. What I was concerned about is, say we have a problem with what someone said who is a member and we post that here. I don't want that person to beable to see their names in the post, in case it it a mistake. Example--SUEBEE made a post about Tania calling her a fat woman and what should we do-turned out it was a misunderstanding because a previous post was deleted--I am still laughing at that SUE, I was ready to take names on that one before I saw what happenen!!..karen :lol:

I know - I felt bad after I named Tania in that post, but I didn't know at that point that the title of a post could be seen by all. :-( :oops:

That one was a good example of why a post should sometimes be edited instead of deleted.

Hell calling me fat is just being honest. :lol:

So CHANGE THE TITLE! See the title of this thread...

Click the edit button on the first message in the thread, and change the Subject line. That changes the title of the whole thread. I'd hit it myself, but I'm late for an appointment.

I was just going to suggest that too. You can change the title and we then need to be careful how we title our posts if and until this can get fixed. Goudah, I did see them on my home page when I logged in as my alter (which I use to test stuff) and now that you said that, that was where I found it...on my home page under my posts.

I know that changing the title would work - But that doesn't mean that Admin can't also correct it so that it won't show to normal members.

We shouldn't have to "code" our titles so that other members can't figure out what is being talked about. Very few if any titles in the MOD forum have someone's name in it. But that doesn't mean a member won't see something and know what it's about.

I completely agree. But sometimes things take awhile.

Thanks for pointing it out :D I've brought it to the notice of my tech colleagues, they will work on this issue.

However, the post, under no circumstances, is visible to the other members.
