I LIVE IN SOUTH CAROLINA AND HAVE DEFAULTED ON 2 PAY DAY LOANS THIS PAST WEEK. MY LOAN FOR GFS WAS 300.00 HAVE PAID 900.00. MYPAYDAYLOAN.COM WAS 9OO.00 HAVE PAID OVER 1500. I HAVE RECEIVED THE SAME LETTER AS OTHERS ABOUT MPDL BEING OUT OF THE STATES AND HAVE STATED TO THEY THAT THIS LOAN WAS AGAINST THE LAW UNDER THE SOUTH CAROLINA PDL ING LAWS.WHAT DO I DO NOW?

Send them both letters, make it known to them that you are aware they are not licensed to lend in the U.S. and you are going to file complaints with your AG and the FTC. And DO follow through with the complaints. Tell them they OWE you a refund.
Mypaydayloan owes you- $800.00
GFS owes you - $600.00

What exactly have you done so far to protect your bank account? I am moving this to the payday loan section. :)

Yes, I wouldn't even bother with the Dept. Of Finances, they don't regulate overseas pdl's. It is important to file complaints with you Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission though, this raises their awareness of what's going on with these unlicensed pdl's, the more complaints, the better the chances of shutting them down. If it were me dealing with these unlicensed pdl's, I would send them an email revoking their ACH transaction on my personal account (which I would close anyway), then find out who their processors were, and make it known to them that they are processing for an unlicensed/illegal IPDL company. I really think if you guys would go that route, you would get them off your back, not to mention probably eventually shut their little operations down! And I would not give up on the processors, I would be persistent with them until they got tired of hearing from me!

Have you called Intercept and/or ACHC? You could also ask your bank who processes for them as well. If you give them a date on which they debited your account they should be able to tell you who handled the transaction. Sometimes they process bank to bank and do not use an independent processor. I've dealt with both. I am sorry that I can't help you with a processor. I would like to see some sort of listing of PDLs and what processor they use. It might be helpful for those who are trying to locate one. I only know that Intercept processes for ameriloan and UsFastCash. ACHC processes for MyCashNow and PayDayMax.
