Hi All, I am new here, I have been reading all post here for the past week and decided I might get some help and answers here. I have this internet site that I borrowed money from called "The Cash Spot" when I signed the agreement it was from "American Consumer Credit, LLC" My question is, has anyone heard of this company. I borrowed $400.00 and if i payback in full, it the total payment is $500.00, if I rollover and then I only pay a fee of $100.00 and that is not going to the principle. Now here in california, there is no fee for rollovers or extention i guess it what it is. I need to know if this site is actually PDL. I also have 2 store front, which I am going to pay off and not use ever again, I also have "Thinkcash" which I know is not a PDL. And they are also hooked up with "Payday One".

Thanks Ladybug for the quick reply, I recieved it over the internet, I will pay $100.00 4 times and the 5th time, they will add and addional 10percent, which will go towards the principal. I have already paid them 300.00 in extention fees, and If they are a pdl, then when they take the next $100.00 off I am going to close my bank account and open another one, and like I said I plan on paying my store fronts, which I forgot i have 3 out not 2.

I have had a bit of financial trouble and started out with one pay day loan and wound up with 4. They make it so easy and enticing. I am in such a hole as I keep paying and paying and now I am at such a loss and I am suffering. I promise that I will never be so ignorant again. One loan started in September, 2008 one in November, 2008. I also submitted to Cash Spot but it turned out to be an another name and I am confused as well as beside myself. For $200 or $300 it is costing me thousands. Is there any relief in site?

I am on the "Do Not Call List" but I just got a call from Stayput Home Assistance wanting me to do a loan modification through them for a deposit of $397.00 to my credit card. When I told them that I just did a search for them and a reverse lookup on their phone number and got nothing. The told me the actual company name was Amercian Consurmer Credit in Newport Beach CA, but this call center was in Fl. They said they were not selling anything, just informing me of government information on what could be done with home mortgages. But it sounded like a sales pitch to be, especially when they want $397 before they even let you talk to a loan counseler, which happens to be a lawyer that can advise me an what I can do.

i took out a 400.00 loan online. it was between paydays. i thought i read all of the fine print. when i read the last sheet of the document it said total repayment 450.00. so i thought o.k at least they are not trying to take customers to the bank. boy was i wrong. turns out they lend the money 25 on every 100 borrowed. i paid 100 1 payday. then they just took out 87.50 out of my account. i called and asked about it she says that no matter what my paydown amount the interest acrues at like double the amount everytime. i told them they are not going to get me caught up in this money trap. i just told them to take what ever the balance is which is still 437.50. the math somehow just does'nt add up. Their name is cash spot or as they say acc/amer consumer credit. Please don't fall for the hype. also as soon as i applied. my yahoo account was bombarded with all of these pdl/credit reduction/fast cash schemes emails. i am soo tired of it all. how do i stop these e mails and advertisements?

of course i had done this before however did not know that all of these companies have 3 and 4 different names. when u give permission for one company to take money out of your account be aware, if you stop payments on one company they have many, many more names to go under. honestly i did this because i was in a tight spot however the biggest mistake that we as humans make is giving people access to our personal information because of desperation!!! however the best thing to do is to close the account and start a new one. and again do not give out personal information, yes they will call you a make threats but honestly there is nothing they can do the are not legal so how are they going to get money from you when they are running a scam themselves!!! i been through that and they are still calling over a year if they could get there money legally it would have been done by now!!!
