Goodwill letter - Citibank asking for credit report

I wrote a goodwill letter to Citibank and they responded by asking me to send my credit report to them. Is this standard practice? I would think they would be able to access it without me having to mail it.....
Also, do I send the whole thing or just the items in question?
Thanks!
