I had been trying to email discount advances, and all I received back was undeliverable messages. So, yesterday morning I faxed them all my paperwork, Revoke ACH, Wage Assignments, C&D. Also attached a copy of of the complaint I filed with the AG. So last night I was going through everything again and decide to check on my accounts to just see if any of them just went away since I let them all know what I was doing. I tried to log on to my discount advances loan and now I can not at all. I still not have offically defualted on this loan. My payment is not due until 6/10. They owe me money. they have not tried to contact me at all. Maybe they are witing to actually see if their payment will go through.

I also longged on to another loan and it now says please call them regarding my loan. They owe me too.

I am not planning on calling these people, but should I email them to let them I will only communicate by email?

And does anyone have experience with discount advances. Is this normal pratice?

I've never had any dealings with Discount Advantages personally. But I can tell you this, based on my past experience with pdl's, and reading what other people in this community has encountered, I wouldn't say it was "normal" practices to not be able to log into your account, but I might rephrase that and say it isn't unusual. They may have blocked you from logging in for several reasons, I can only speculate, but I would almost venture to say they did it because of the revocation letters you sent and the complaints. :) Then again, I could be wrong!

Hey SRJANES,
Sometimes PDLs do this in hopes of you loosing a paper trail of your account to them. PayDayMax does the same thing. They will block all accounts immediately in hopes of scaring you to call them and paying an outrageous settlement. Do not give in and just keep faxing the complaint letters and email all corespondance from this point on. They will eventually fold, trust me. Are they legal in your state as far as licensing goes? And how much have you overpaid? Need a lil more info.

None of my loans are legal in Michigan. I have overpaid discount advance by $210.96. In fact of the 9 loans left, because impact cash folded within 24 hrs, I only owe on three of the loans. the rest I have overpaid.

BIG owe $99 they say $295 (UK) I am will to pay the $99 they won't accepted it - too bad for them I guess

MTE Financial owe $72 they will settle for $300 and won't apply any mor fee's - lucky me!!

USFASTCASH owe $195 they say 455 - have not heard from them, but I also have not defaulted on anything yet

I guess next week my phone will be ringing off the hook.

OK. BIG is VERY ILLEGAL and they you are not obligated to pay them. If you feel you want to pay them then that's on you.

USFASTCASH will settle for principle if you file BBB on them.

MTE will dissapear eventually, just make sure you closed your accounts.

Have your C&D faxed, emailed, and certified to all companies.

The more you file the better leverage you have in your corner. It is good to have your basis covered anywayz. As far as the time, it just depends on who handles your case at at the time. You will find with PDLs it can be the luck of the draw sometimes. You can call one day and get a "PIF", you can call the next and get a total jerk! So all I can tell you is stay focused, and keep everything documented for your records!

I have to disagree with the advice regarding USFastCash settling with a BBB complaint. No. No one can say this and it come across as a fact. I have dealt with them until the bloody end with it in my state AG's hands. No, you can not promise they will settle. They most likely will not. MTE will NOT "disappear". No. You also can't say this. I have dealt with them until no end also. These people can be ruthless. Please do not state that certain pdls will "settle" or "disappear". To even assume this - let alone give someone that idea - is not good advice. There are a lot of reprecussions of thinking they will "go away".

for some reason I can not login , this is srjanes. I realize some pdl companies may off or not offer different settlements. I know they are going to call. (that is what I fear the most them calling my office and saying all kinds of things. I am a team leader and the thought of everyone knowing all of this just makes me sick. I have started to do all of this on my own and I had already retain PDL Assistance before I really got into some deep reading here. So far on my own one PDL went away. I do not have a payment with PDL Assistance again until 6/25. One of my PDL today emailed me to ask for PDL Assistance contact info so they could discuss. I know I could do all of this on my own, but it is really consuming. I travel a lot for work. I thought that if I could get rid of some of these PDLs on my own then PDL Assistance could take care of the rest. I don't know. I know this is all my fault, but I really just widh this would all go away fast.

I agree with the poster on UFC. They wouldn't budge even when the BBB contacted them. I contacted their processor, she emailed them while I was on the phone with here and the next day I had a PIF with $30 still remaining on my account. That is just another factor you can add to the mix to get them to go away.

Hello. Like I stated before it depends on who you get that day you call. Some stated they got a PIF while on the phone. I too got the same thing. I am sorry you had to deal with USFASTCASH and MTE untill the very end. But also look at it this way, if you have made payments on your account, overpaid, or even not paid at all. It just depends on each individual account I guess. So I guess each case is different. My case was different I filed a complaint with BBB and USFASTCASH responded with a settlemnt offer immediatley, and even credited me an extra $90 to my account for the hassle. So I guess it just depends who you get that day from the PDL company. The key point here is, DO NOT GIVE UP FIGHTING!

That is one thing that I guess I am not up to speed on yet is the ACH processors. Do I inform them of anything now or do I wait to see if any of these PDLs try to put my payments through even though I revoke them? When I closed my account I asked the bank if they could tell me and she said she would have to wait and see what tried to come through on the 10th and then maybe she could get intouch with the ACH department at the bank. Sounds like the run around. Is there a complied list of ACH processors? I have 9 PDLs. If you know the processor can you please let me know.

MTE Financial
US FASTCASH
ameriloan
Paycheck Today
Loan POINT USA
Discount Advances
Cash Advance Network
NETCASH USA

I just got a loan from Discount Advances and made my first payment today. Do you realize they are in St. Lucia (Bahamas)? If I didn't want to pay them back, I could stop letting them get any payments through my ACH, but I don't want to close my bank account. So far I have had no trouble with them, but just found out they are illegal in WA State because they are not registered with the DFI (Department of Financial Institutions) here.
