Has anyone every had a loan with this payday lender, and if so do they work with you if you are having trouble paying off.I still have 3 payday loans and two of them have said they would work with me,but I have not heard back form this company yet.I think they also go by cashdirectexpress,Cashdirectnow and GECC.I decided that unless I tried to work out payments,I would never get out of this payday loan cyle.
Thanks for any info in advance. :!:

You should send them a payment plan in writing and express your intentions. In return, they are required to send approval to it and state the following points:

  • Make payments within the due dates

  • You will be deprived of the benefits and discounts (if any) on defaults

  • Your credit reports will be updated.

If they can put the following points in writing, then you can go ahead with your payments. Please do not default otherwise you will lose these benefits forever if given by the company.

Some useful information for payday loan borrowers from NYS:

Are you staying in New York? Payday loans are restricted in NYS Usery law. Since the payday loan lenders charge illegal interest rates, NYS has made a regulation which restricts the lenders from charging sky high interests. If the annual interest exceeds 25% in NYS, the lender will be in violation of the state law and fined ??190.40 of the New York State Penal Code.

I've stopped payment on all of these "sharks" including GECC. Can't afford their cheating tactics. Almost cost me my apt. and vehicles. I reside in NJ.

What's the annual interest rate of the 3 on-line cash agencies I've annotated.

Thanks a lot!!

Even if you're from NYS is does not help you if the loan was made on line. The state of the lender applies. I thought the same at the beginning then I had to pay much more. It is not worth taking those loans in the first place. Or if you do have them, make a deal with lenders. In case you don't pay they put put this in records and other lenders with much more suitable rate are reluctant to give you money. So it is not worth it, rahter not take them, but if you do, pay them as fast as possible and DON'T TAKE THEM AGAIN!

If you have no money in your account then you will be overdrawn and charged an NSF fee by your bank. You can send payments to the pdls, although in the beginning some will give you a rough time and say you can not do that. Be persistent. In the end they want paid, they will give you a physical address to mail in the payment, but do not send payment by Money Gram or Western Union. Demand a physical address to mail a money order.

Here is a link to your state's payday loan laws, it looks like Missouri's state laws really suck bad. They allow 6 roll overs, but you may still have hope if these companies are not licensed in your state. This link also provides another link to check the licensee look up for your state. Chances are these internet payday loan laws you are dealing with are not licensed in your state, most arent'.

Hello,
This company placed funds into my bank account without my permission. I backed out of the loan, knowing that I didn't need the hassle, and so never gave my OK to do so. Nevertheless, they deposited the money into my account anyway! and are debiting my account every payday. I cannot seem to get a hold of them.

If they took out money before they where supposed to block them from having access to your account. They just violated the contract agreements and the contract is void. Keep proof of the day they took money out of your account and also proof that they where not supposed to take it out that day and not until January 2nd 2009. This way if they try to sue you , you have a claim against them.

If you feel safer, take all your money out of the bank and close the account.

I could be wrong but a contract is a contract and they violated it.

I'm getting with the local sheriff dept. consumer protection agent and will inform them how you have illegally ripped your clients off thousands of dollars and have you put out of business altogether...you are unethical. I'm so upset with you I can't even talk.

After having visited your website and unable to select "Consumers Protection" on your drop down menu, because a snag that refers me to your webmaster that has no email address...I hoping this email may reach someone who can assist me as to what to do with regard to an unethical cash advance website GECC Loan.

After doing a Google search on this particular business I have found thousands of other clients have been intentionally deceived out of thousands of dollars from online documantation of "Ripoff Reports".

April 20,2009 I electronically signed a contract online with GECC Loan for a $400 cash advance, giving them my income info and account numbers. The $400 was deposited by GECC into my checking account on 4-20-09.

Since then the following ach withdrawals have been made from my checking account:

GECC Loan

Phone: 866-432-2562

PPD ID 3562392289

Loan No. 8664322562

5-1-09 $106

5-15-09 $106

6-12-09 $212

6-12-09 $30

6-26-09 $106

7-10-09 $106

7-10-09 $40

7-23-09 $95

7-23-09 $40

Total ach w/d $841.00

Not knowing until today, 7-24-09, in a phone conversation with one of GECC's aggresive agents that I had been deceived, lied to and stolen from by means of their intentionally

falsifying and misleading contracts, I am not allowed any legal recourse in retrieving lost monies. Today they informed me after all these withdrawals from my checking account I still owe them an unpaid balance of $404.80...I could no longer continue with them in a phone conversation because I was so upset went to their website and left a message in their feedback form that I was going to contact my local Sheriff Department's Consumer Protection Agent, feeling I have been taken advantage of.

My Chase Bank Agent Michael Beer 8102343557 advised me to close my account, as to the only recourse as to stop this deceiving unethical predator.

I do not know what to do.

Would you please advise.

:confused:I was looking for a payday loan on the internet before I agreed with any thing GECC put 400.00 into my bank account. I never talk to anyone or seen any message from this company. I had to call the bank to find out who the money came from. Now I am trying to contact someone about the loan-can't find contact link or phone number. They have already taken 2 payments of 106.00 next one due this week. Who are these people and how do you contact them.
