well, the belmont stakes is today and news just
came down that c drive is a scratch because
of a bruise on his hoof.now call me not a horse
expert, but doesn't big brown have a cracked hoof?
after what happened to eight bells, and 2 years ago
with barbaro, can horse racing stand another tragedy?
is it worth it to put this magnificent horse at
risk?i know the owners and trainer say all is ok
butis it?i will not watch this race,i hope big brown
comes out healthy much less wins.

i hope that is the case, just heard that too.
i am just leery, what with eight belles and
barbaro.

I personally think that horse racing is a very cruel sporting event since I have horses and have witnessed race horses going down dead during a race, jmo. I swore at that point I would never watch one again and haven't. I know it is an individal opinion and everyone is entitled to one so that is mine for what it is worth.
