I have a few PDLS that will only take MoneyGram. However, I dont think you can prove you sent them money using it. Is this correct?

Sonic Cash and Loan Point USA are giving me a hard time because they will not take money orders. Why wont they take them?

It is best NOT to use moneygram, western union quickpay or anything like that to pay a PDL. Insist on paying by money order, and tell that that is THE ONLY METHOD OF PAYMENT YOU WILL USE. If they want their money, they need to accept that form of payment.

There have been cases of moneygrams and western union payments going "missing" and the company saying they didn't get it. And there have also been cases of people having a very hard time obtaining proof that the company received it.

The best way to go is with a money order, sent via certified mail, return receipt requested.

I guess I would belive that anything could be disputed in any arena. I usually pick my battles carefully and also feel that you get back what you give out. I never once encountered nasty emails, phone calls, or threats from any of the PDLs I was dealing with. Perhaps I was just one of the lucky ones. They weren't always eager to jump at my proposal but in the end I beat them at their own game. They were paid according to what I owed, I got my PIF's and life goes on. I don't think about the possibility of them coming back years later. Worrying about that just holds me captive, not them. I live in the moment and tomorrow will take care of itself, good, bad or indifferent. Now that I have had my philosophical moment, I wish all good luck in getting PDL free ASAP. Keep up the good work!
