OneClickCash has "retained" United Cash Loans recovery (I know they're all the same) to collect on my account that they refuse to settle on. Of course, it comes from the same 000-000-0000 phone number. The guy on the phone this time said that my account had been flagged for garnishment. I told him that they had no legal capacity to do anything to me and that I had told them over a dozen times that I was not allowed to take calls like this at work. He had the nerve to CHUCKLE at me and said "The calls will continue until we get our money." Do I have no rights in this? I'm so mad!

It's old and paid off. I can't turn off the ringer, unfortunately, because it's my work phone. I HAVE to answer my phone when it rings at work, even if it's them. They are illegal in my state, so I'm not worried about them pursuing it in court, but they won't leave me alone even after I told them not to call me at work.

these are both MTE d/b/a's.you owe them nothing and they are not going to do anything of a legal course.
being totally illegal they have no recourse but to call and threaten, still i would get a fresh AG complaint out asap.

No, I paid back only what I borrowed. The contact was reviewed by the KY Dept of Finance and they deemed it "unenforceable" and "illegal". I sent that response to LLS, and they said "You agreed to it, so you have to do it." Anyway, by my state's laws they're paid off--so I just left it at that. They don't contact my anymore--well, right now they don't.

It's just my website thats all.
I signed up here to help people out. Believe it or not but PDL's do provide the help that some people need at some point.
I have never heard of anyone getting "screwed" by a PDL, if someone claims they got "screwed", it was their decision that got them "screwed" in the first place.

I am in fact very "pro-PDL" in my opinion PDL's are a good thing and they DO help people in financial emergencies, I know 1st hand because I have used them myself!
I came here in search of helping people!
Thats why I am here!

Pay Day Loans are for those who can pay them back asap like the next week. It is when they cant is when all hell breaks loose. If you cannot pay it back asap or next week ....then STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Only borrow a small amount if your income is low, do not borrow more than you can pay back and pay it back next week or asap!

Hey do not mean to inerject, but I had a quick thought here.

The Little Loan Shop which is supposedly licensed in Utah. If they are soliciting "short-term installment loans" this conflicts with Utah PDL state law, which is very lax by the way. Utah state laws state no extensions more than 12 weeks from loan origination date. So this means loan must be paid off in 3 months. According to LLS contract of their so called "installment plan" of 10 payments this exceeds that time frame. 10 paymnets if paid bi-weekly is 5 months. So how can that be?? :? Is it because the PDL is internet based?

On their site you have option for installment or cash advance. That was there at least when I applied. When documents were emailed it said short term installment loan. I seen in earlier posts stating if it is a installment loan it needs to be backed by a bank then their contract is valid and you follow their laws. On the other hand, if LLS is not backed by a bank then their contract is invalid making the consumers state laws priority. Does anyone know the actual laws that backs this up? FYI I called Utah DFI and they couldn't find LLS in database..huh. :? Hope they didnt change their name.

If they say they issue installment loans, then shouldn't there be fixed payments for a fixed amount of time? When that time is up....the loan is paid OFF. With Little Loan Shoppe, they keep rolling the loan over....that means it's NEVER paid off, you just keep paying the fees and the principal still shows up. You can pay it off if you pay the principal PLUS another loan fee....by the time I realized what was happening, I had paid them over 1,000 in loan fees and my principal of 300 was STILL there. Installment loan by sweet bottom! I'm in AL, the law states 1 roll over....they didn't abide by it. I sent letters, haven't heard from them.

Just wondering if anyone out there has dealt with this company or is currently dealing with them. I took out an internet loan with them last year for $300. Since then they have taken out $90 every two weeks. Instead of the loan being paid down after the forth refinance, they are still taking out the finance charge totally up to over $1,000. Any other payday loans I've had my account was automatically paid down but I've had so many that I lost sight of this one. I've stopped payment for the next payment they are going to collect on but I owe them nothing, the owe me actually. If anyone out there is dealing with them, please let me know your experience.

One Click Cash, are unlicensed/illegal to lend in any state in the US. They are very nasty to deal with, your best bet is to get your account closed asap, they won't stop taking your money as long as they have access to your account. Blocking them isn't an option either as they will just change their name and withdraw under a different name. :?

You are saying that this is the same company as Speedy Payday Loan? I have a completely different phone number for them 1-800-414-2995??? I have drafted a letter that I am sending to them, as well as cash supply. I took a loan out for $200 with cash supply and have already paid them $337.50. I am requesting that they mark that I've paid this loan in full. In NC they have taken more than legally allowed. I heard they are also a difficult company to deal with. I will have my account closed before they receive notification that I stopped payment.
