you defaulted already right?if so they still
should be able to work a payment arrangement.it
is a pain, but since these are storefront they
are legal for the most part.did you have an ACH
withdrawl arrangment?

to clarify,an ACH debit is an automatic arrangement to debit your acct for the amount due on a certain day or date.

No I do not have an ACH debit. Some of the PDL's have been okay with arrangements, but some have been very nasty to me and threaten to take me to court if i do not pay them. I have never been in any trouble before, so I'm really scared.

i would still try to make the ones threatening you to listen to reason.they know more than likely your pdl situation.they are just playing hardass.

well i would give them a payment proposal in writing.some storefronts have done that, mostly to get paid first.if you have some documentation the courts if it comes to that should see that in your favor.

Checksmart is pretty active in taking people to court.

Ohio has it's own little payday loan court. It's like bad check court, only for payday loans. You just sit in a room with a mediator and the payday loan rep, and work out a payment plan.

PS - They don't care if you have tried to make payment arrangements, it's breaking your contract if you aren't paying according to the terms, so any arrangments you try to make are a moot point as far as the court is concerened. They only care if it's a legit debt that you do owe.

So Checksmart should probably be the first one i get paid off. I am not trying to go to court. I have clean record, and i am not trying to go there with these people. This is a nightmare.
