One of my credit card accounts was recently turned over to an attorney for collections. The balance is $4776. I received a letter dated 5/22/08 requesting payment of this debt. Should you send a validation letter even if you know the debt is yours?
Should I try contacting them to settle or definitely send the validation letter?
Thanks,
Kim
