Dear Yuphadee,

As per I know,
Superior debt relief company is primarily a debt settlement company which negotiates with the creditors on your behalf for lowering your payment. They claim that they usually lower debt amount to half of the total outstanding debt. For qualifying for the program, you should
??????? Have an outstanding of atleast $10,000 as unsecured debt.
??????? Be a US citizen
??????? Have only unsecured debt like
o Credit cards
o Personal Loan
o Gas cards and Department store Cards
o Medical Bills
o Judgment on apartment lease, and many more

Superior Debt Relief claim that they will make you debt free within a span of 1 to 3 years.

Now, on a personal note I want to suggest you something.
I think, you are considering debt settlement for becoming debt free.
But let me ask you???????i) Are you feeling that it has become impossible to pay your debt?
ii) Have you reached to the brink of bankruptcy?

I am asking these questions because it is prudent to consider debt settlement only when you are at the brink of bankruptcy. Debt settlement is the last resort for avoiding bankruptcy.

If there is any other way then you should give a second thought before going for debt settlement because it will affect your credit score as well as credit report negatively. Your score may fall by 200 to 250 points which will hamper your access to credit or loans in the future. So, before selecting debt settlement, you should go through the other solutions of becoming debt free.

To me, the best option of debt relief is the Self Repayment Plan. You can also get Free Advice from our community????????s financial expert for debt relief.

Thank you very much Phoenix. Your information really help. I still can pay my debt but next year my boss will sell the company. I'm single mom with two kids. I've never thought about bankruptcy. Superior debt will cut my montly payment to $280 for 3 yrs. It's sound very good but I think about my credit report as you said. I have a car. That's it. I have to pay rent. I have 2 checks/month. One have to pay for rent. My kid will go to collage this summer. She's only 13 yr. My situation 's getting hard more and more.

Thank again everyone!

Dear Yuphadee,

It????????s really good to hear that my knowledge has helped you. :D Hope it will help you to take right decision and get out of debt as early as possible.

Sorry to hear about your position. But don????????t panic???????because it will not solve any problem but will only aggravate it.

If you are really on the verge of bankruptcy, then you can consider debt settlement as an answer. But before selecting a particular company you should shop around and look for other settlement companies too. As per I know, debt settlement can decrease your actual payment to the extent of 60 to 75%, depending on circumstances.

So, I will suggest you to shop around and bargain with other debt settlement companies by saying that ???????so-and-so??????? company is offering me this???????now what is your offer?

Have you ever thought about debt management as a solution? It will not affect your credit score and no negative remarks will be entered in the credit report. So you can think about it as a feasible option.

I think you should also take Free Counseling from our community????????s financial expert.

Phoenix
