I plan on sending off the envelope with a succinct letter to them about communicating with me. My need is two-fold: 1. How do I word a letter to them about this matter? and 2. Was her threat valid or should I report them to the proper governing authorities?
I've been having go-rounds with them over this account for two years. Two years ago, I mailed them a packet of information with the paid-in-full letter from my debt consolidation company who was handling my payments at the time, but I didn't do it certified with the return receipt. I will this time. I haven't checked my credit report, but is there a course of action I can take if they in fact have been reporting this account as delinquent even though it's been paid off?
Thanks in advance!

It's me again...the original poster. I mailed off the letter and necessary documents by certified mail with a return receipt so I guess I'll play the waiting game with them now. It hacks me off because I've worked really hard to pay off all the debts I accumulated out of stupidity.

The next time they call ask them to please send a bill to you.
Also, you should never give out your personal information, including your address, to anyone who calls you. If they ask, you should offer to confirm the address they have.
You should also send you PIF and the bill they sent you to your states Banking Commission with a letter stating you are still recieving harassing calls from them.

Never give any information to them. First send them a letter for them to verify the debt. Sending more info is giving them too much info to use against you in the future.
